Took me about 2 hours. Easy install. Edit: Maybe this may be helpful for others. If you have a previous leveling kit. When removing previous front suspension set. Use two pry bars, helps give more leverage!

Should have removed the half axle nut in the hug to gain more down travel on the LCA instead of messing with the LCA bolts.

Great video Freddy! Did you disconnect the battery or EPAS before you started? Also.. on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being difficult, how difficult it this for a person with average mechanical skills to install in my garage where all I have are jack stands and a jack? Looks very straightforward and plug and play - but you are a professional and professionals always make it look easy!

They can be installed either way Roush installs them "upside down" with the piston up...I haul trucks out of Roush in Michigan and have seen it myself.

I have the same setup. Installed from a Roush Dealer and they did it the same way. Instructions say they should be this way. On the other hand i checked with Fox and they say it should be the opposite. Not sure it matters though.

Just installed my rear shocks. I torque them up to 66lbs with the torque wrench. Anybody else torque them or just locked them in and called it a day?

Fail. The lower control arms should be torqued when the weight of the vehicle is placed on them, not in the air. The rear shocks are indeed "upside-down".

Great video. I'm not that knowledgeable about truck (yet). Two questions. How noticeable of a difference will this make in both driving on the street and then off road? Can you feel a difference? Second, I've heard that lifting a truck can cause problems with steering. Is that true? Thanks!

The Fox suspensions is a little softer and less harsh than factory and makes it ride better on and off road. There were no steering issues after installing this kit.

Fox says “in most cases, Fox smooth body shocks are mounted with the shock body on top”. I’ve had two sets installed on two separate trucks and each time have had to flip them over to the body on top orientation myself.....

@@mikef5694 this is my concern too. I’ve read some reviews thats it’s stiffer than stock on small bumps but handles well on big bumps. Wish someone with real life experience on this suspension can comment on this. Nice video.

I know this is a little old now, but did you guys end up adjusting the coilovers? I just installed on a 2019 and got about 2.25" - 2.5" of lift in the front. The vehicle is leveled, but I wonder if I should adjust it down some.

Bryan Grigsby Give it time for the new springs to settle. It takes a couple weeks but eventually you will end of with about 2 inches of lift.

All you need to do after installing this kit is get an alignment since it's only a 2 inch lift, you don't need to mess with the control arms. Any larger of a lift and its a good idea to upgrade the control arms.

I have a 2019 f150 2wd and to sit level I would need 2.5 inches. Does fox sell a coilover kit that will level up 2 and 1/2 in

These coilovers will add 2 inches to 4WD trucks, so since you have a 2wd, which is lighter in the front, these should give you 2.5 inches of lift.
