@catfeces Carney is great, but it depends what you classify as "the best" drumming. The beauty of his style is that he knows he's not a one man show. He can carry the beat without faltering or screwing around too much and that's the key to the blues-rock style that the Keys use.

I dig the Album. They tried to expand and it grew on me. Plus, with the talent of the Black Keys, I don't think they could ever suck. Maybe you should be positive and get out of you shell.

Ain't gotta be the best instrumentalists when you have originality, and most importantly, SOMETHING TO SAY. Most of your virtuoso "super pickers" couldn't write a song to save their uninspired lives. Of course, there's always exceptions. Like Stevie Ray Vaughn.
