Okay, I don’t get it. I’ve been an industrial Millwright for almost 20 years. I’ve worked on everything from screening plants, crushers, loaders, excavators, dozers, weigh-bridges. I’ve built homes, trucks, motorcycles, mopeds, go-carts .....It took me 4 hours of cursing and wrestling to get 1 side done. Never in my life have I fought like that over 2 bolts. There’s something just slightly twisted. I considered torching my car and going on a murderous rampage. But instead, I ended up basically taking everything apart. What a f’g job that was. The bottom needs to be done first. At least in my case. I tried both ways many times, before I decided to just break it down. If you do the top first, there’s a twist on lower control arm that makes it impossible to thread the bottom bolt without damaging it. I’d rather do an engine swap then f’k with these again.

Jacking up the control arm up fixes that issue you’re speaking of. Line the bottom up first then the top

@@seelowz man, I pissed around with that every which way. Jacking the control arm did nothing; i tried. Maybe mine was built on a Monday or Friday.

@@corywilliamson6238 that sucks man. I’m getting mine installed tomorrow along with some drag springs .. I was going to try myself but I see some people taking 4+ hours so I’m just like nevermind lol!

@@seelowz if you go in knowing to undue the upper and lower, it’s quick. Take out the top bushing until the bottom is threaded. Then fulcrum it into the top joint from the lower with a pinch bar. Maybe your goes smooth. Mine didn’t. I did the passenger side in 30 minutes when I figured it out.

Otherwise it simply doesn’t line up. Im not a small guy. I literally tried everything. Easy way is not easy.

I fought the alignment of that bottom bolt for 2 hours alone just on one side.

MvF JET it doesn’t do much honestly, just makes the wheel hop more controllable but wheel hop is still present

for the price of the 2018 it shouldnt have excessive wheel hop.why not get the option of upgrading every single part when configuring the initual build
