They look good CJ. Quality!! The nice thing about polycarbonate is it won’t flex like acrylic lids will due to humidity or heat.

Man, I've been waiting for someone to talk about these crazy price increases for livestock. F it, I'll just call it what it is...ridiculous. My last visit to my LFS, I saw $50 damsels and $85 for Fire shrimps! I know Rico's Aquariums has been dealing with family priorities, but this topic is right in his wheelhouse.

For your next order of fish, Dr Reef's quarentied fish is an excellent service. He'll order and QT the fish for you so you can get exactly what you want in a healthy state. Takes about 2 months, but every fish I've got from him has arrived eating, healthy, and pest free. It's a good option especially if you're trying to track down fish that your LFS rarely get. Tank is looking good!

The problem with your qt tank being that close is accidental water exchange between it and the display tank. Also some parasites can actually travel via air. I think most recommend your qt should be at least 10ft away. Ideally in another room. I set up qt up in my bedroom closet so it was well away from the display in the living room.

No way this is real… I mean evaporation happens. But a 10 foot rule. That’s like food hitting the ground and it’s okay to each as long as it’s been 5 seconds. That 10’ koolaid has too much sugar.

Only ran two for this video for recording purposes. The blues are too deep for the lid to show correctly. all 5 are still mounted and work perfectly

Great video. Are you shooting videos with your phone? Filters? If so, what brand of filter? My tank looks like sh*t when shot with my iPhone. The blue light does not film well.

Every video on my channel is made with iPhone and edited with iMovie. I’ve never used a computer. I’m still working out these orphek camera lenses on my phone so not the quality I aim for yet… will get better as we go 💪🏾💯

Do you think it would be better to slowly add the fish to the main tank or do you think the tank is big enough to handle that bio load all at once m?

I’ll start wit the cheapest fish damsels first for a test run then add the rest after testing water out

Are you sure you want to add damsels as your first set of fish, they being aggressive to future added fish

Aruzi damsels are very peaceful compared to most damsel, I have two with an coral beauty angel fish, a clown and 6line wrasse with zero issues

It’s the latest version of their lids. Maximum air exchange and least around of weight. Classic woulda been my 2nd best choice if they didn’t have this one.

Not even close.. fish in the QT already exceed the cost of this lid. Fish prices are crazy now
