"Based on True Saga" not "based on true history" lol. And the show is called "Vinland Saga" so it was written as the retelling of the settling of Vinland from perspective of the main characters. But some of the history is "authentic" I believe.

I had this idea as well, but i'm not capable of making AMV's atm.. So glad you did this! I do have to say, that some of the lyrics aren't correct. Correction in the beginning: Once you're hardened in battle, there's no coming back.. Fight or Fall.. (Instead of : once your heart is in battle,... fight for Thor.)

By some accounts Thorkell the Tall and Thorfinn Karlsefni were Christians, and Thorfinn was an Icelander and thus not Swedish. ;) Askeladd, though fictional, is half-Welsh and thus probably baptized as well, even if he behaves as a pagan in public.
