This is the most memorable song from CarnEvil. I would totally buy an arcade cabinet of the game and start with Rickety Town just so I can hear this song. This should have been the theme for the entire level. The Christmas music is so forgettable

Well, would’ve been a golden opportunity to do so from Netherrealm Studios, but too bad they only picked up Mortal Kombat as a worthy survivor from Midway’s downfall. So, looks like CarnEvil was left to die alongside with Midway.

This was my favorite level too, I used to play it every time I went to the bowling alley when I was in my Elementary School bowling league, but I never really got past the food court with the 2 quarters I was given. At least I got to hear this song every time. Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who remembers this game and song. It's damn catchy, so much so that I thought to look it up even though its probably been at least 15 years since i've actually played the game. Great tune, great game. Totally beat it in the arcade once when I was little. I play a bit of guitar and harmonica, and I once tried to figure out how to play this by ear unsuccessfully. That harmonica riff is a tough one. Although I have to wonder if it's a harmonica sound played through a synthesizer or something? Who knows... Not all that much info out there on this game it seems... I totally saw CarnEvil in a movie once. It was in a scene and actually showed the cabinet and some gameplay, but it totally bugged me that they didn't use any of the actual sound effects or music from the game. I wish I could remember the name of the film. Who knows, if they featured big bunyan ride in the movie, maybe it would have been more memorable? Probably not though, because the only thing I remember about it was that CarnEvil was in it. It was a scene about how this angry teenager used the game to release built up anger....

HailHelix I know that you can get it to run on the pc but I have never bothered to check how to do it but it is nothing compared to the feeling of an arcade. there are some walkthroughs if you search for them and they even have the endings something I was never able to reach in the arcades
