Never played Ark or Pokemon but just watching gameplay around YT, this game looks fantastic. It doesn't just keep you in a static zone or age where you have to live in huts and gather wood, ore and small pals forever. It has real progression and modernization not only with tech but also with the pals. There's always something to be pursuing and it encompasses creativity such as base building. I'm getting it but just have to wait and see what platforms it ends up on.

Gotta say that since I saw the first footage of this game I thought it would be something silly. Turns out it is pretty well put together. Aside from the critters, I think it would be even better if they could implement a more distinct style for things like the buildings and equipment. Styles that mesh with the Pals more.

Early access with huge plans in the making as we play this early release. Its definitely a title with some staying power and a complete come from behind surprise. No one was expecting it to be this good and it blew away expectations. This is one of those rare titles that just knocks it out of the park and becomes and instant classic.

@zanielgaming4296 well, legally speaking, PalWorld can't be sued by Nintendo. Not enough similarity. Nintendo doesn't own creature capture games and there are enough differences in the game to make it unique. All you have are upset fans and a pissed off Nintendo which I think is a win win. Nintendo has done very little to please their pokemon fans as of late and PalWorld not only fills a hole that pokemon didn't bother to touch (mature pokemon for the aging fanbase) but it takes it down a wildly fun alternate genre, survival/crafting. I hope Nintendo takes the hint and ups their game instead of dumping out repetitive, boring and overly long winded games.

Tip for fighting boss at early levels is engaging them somewhere with rocks nearby. Allows you to strafe around for healing, and switching pals.

The combat is looking so much better them in the trailers on their channel it looked like everyone was a damage sponge and you just clicked attack constant until the enemy finally died, in this video I'm seeing a nice balance between easy and hard battles with some good damage that don't let things stretch out too much.

Entertaining video! I had a good time watching it. A tip for the final boss fight: Keeping Jetragon out for so long ruined your DPS. His attacks have a long cooldown before firing again. You could take the boss out if you recall and cycle through all of your pals after they fire their volley of attacks so you keep up your DPS while they recharge their attack cooldowns. You are correct in that the ten minutes is definitely not long enough to defeat him unless you are cycling your Pals during their attack cooldowns.

Would love to see a deep dive on breeding/infusion. I saw that infusing levels up the pal ability. I'm wondering what that's going to do for pal abilities like flying or Vixy's: 'when ranching sometimes dig up items' - which includes pokeballs. Is it going to dig up better stuff or just more? Also definitely going to try running 4 daedream and failing that, infusing the heck out of one. Also can you try capturing a wandering shopkeeper? I saw one of the streamers catch an interactive tip giving NPC last night and it kept its normal dialogue. Shopkeepers might work the same! Looking forward to the 19th!

To give an answer for your question to enter the Island with the Big Tree on it. At the very beginning of the game, this pad said "The towers are the Keys, the Tree holds the truth." I'm not that far in the game atm, but I guess you have to beat all tower bosses to get access to the tree Island 👍🏼

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it here, but you can catch the bosses too! Just get a wanted level, get the cops to chase you into the boss battle, and as soon as they hit the boss once, just throw a ball and you auto catch them. :) If anyone didn’t know this, YW!

Hey guys, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokemon breeding, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokemon for humans? Not only are they in the field egg group, which is mostly comprised of mammals, Vaporeon are an average of 3 foot 3 tall and 63.9 pounds, this means they are large enough to handle humans, and with their impressive Base Stats for HP and access to Acid Armor, you can be rough with one. Due to their mostly water based biology, there is no doubt in my mind that an aroused vaporeon would be incredibly wet, so you could easily have ... with one for hours without getting sore.

To beat Victor, you can breed pals with better passive skills, especially the attack. Don't sell the pals with bad passive skills, they can be used to strengthen your best pals as well. Dragons are good against Victor, which is dark. Furthermore, you can let pals eat food to increase their attack, and pal souls can strengthen their attack as well. Another way is to beat Victor is by strengthening yourself and use weapons like rocket launcher.

Palworld Review. Being able to be attacked by pals like Arceus Free roam of Pals & attack like Scarlet & Violet. Catch them all with spheres like Pokémon Build & harvest like Ark. guns & weapons like Ark. fast travel like Pokémon Bosses like Pokémon & Zelda Typing system like Pokémon World manipulation settings like Ark. level system cross between Ark & Pokemon. Gear & technology system like Ark Ride & fight with Pals like Ark. biomes like Pokémon & Ark Biome variables of type like Pokémon ie Alohian. You can actually unalive Pals. It reminds me of fornite, Zelda, Ark & Pokemon combined.

Many of us Pokemon fans don't realize how good this is for us. Competition will force Gamefreak to Improve Quality. The best Pokemon games yet will come out in the next 2-3 years because of this. Thats exciting as fuck. Palworld feels like playing a different game anyway. Palworld is constructing, survival. Pokemon is about battling and competitive movesets.

The second i realized I could capture people, thats all I did for over an hour, those idiots dropped me extra capsules when I failed to capture them. Basically I ran back and forth through a dungeon and they responded every time I left to a different room. At a 10% capture rate, it only takes around 10 capsules per thug. I got around 2 capsules per 3 man group, so it I captured around 1 thug per every 15 I defeated. I've got over 20. I can't wait to level up enough to use the condeser.😂

@Cjthecheesedj one thing that might have helped defeat the last boss was having multiple pals out at the same time? Have something like Dazzi, Flopie, or Daedream and put a necklace on it then use its partner ability.

It's pokemon crossed with rust, the boxes are the same as small boxed from rust (which you can code lock), you make a twig base and you can upgrade it, guns, and not to mention you start as a "naked" on the beach

I hope there will be updates for features like an equivalent to shinies but better, like morphs or mutated versions. I am a reptile enthusiast, so the idea of morph came to mind first--a color, pattern or size variation if the same species is called a morph. For pals, I imagine it would be similar in that it's not just a color change like with shinies but also can have purpose or even further unique features. I suppose it would be kind of like a regional variant pokemon except it wouldn't limit to just one regional variant to spawn in the world. Better yet, make it so that only certain variants can be bred for! I can't help but want to apply my reptile hobby enthusiasm into this with the ideas of variations, morphs, breeding for features and so-on.

when i look at completion criteria for this game, i would add the need to catch/breed every Pal, complete 4 full bases around the islands, raise Pals + Character to max level and get them all their gear. for me the criteria will probably increase as the game adds more features like PVP and so on.

YEah.. The Relaxasarurus raid, I think, surprised everyone. It's insane the first time. You are caught completely off-guard. You have no defence against it, because they come at you surprisingly, and at an early player lvl/they being in lvl 29/30. Their attacks do also a lot of damage. Luckily.. they just leave after a while. Funny little joke from the devs that one.

The pals actually have individual traits that you can use in the world! This is actually close as I'll come to my Charmander bbq food truck idea as I can! It has so many features that Pokemon fans have been begging for for years! Although I do wish I could play it as a pacifist . I wish that I could do missions or charm the pals to get them to follow/ do things for me.
