COVID has me trying so hard to provide video content for my students and I am struggling and pulling my hair out to try and do something that is so far out of my job description in order to keep my students entertained, but these videos both give me confidence and also deep loathing. I'm over here hating that I can't get rid of mouth sounds in my videos and you're here pulling off Hamilton lol. You've all come so far and it gives me hope.
@KaylaKasel4 жыл бұрын
Maybe a stupid question, but, have you tried pop filters? They're supposed to help with mouth sounds and rougher consonant sounds, and they're something you attach to a microphone.
@ReziahT4 жыл бұрын
@@KaylaKasel I'd love to get one but we are working with a negative budget. They're cutting jobs left right and centre let alone giving us anything to work with so unfortunately most of the filming is just done on teachers phones using earbuds as the microphone and if we need stock footage it's coming out of our own pockets. It's not bad quality, it's just not as good as what students are used to with their favourite KZbinrs so it feels a bit disappointing.
@tylerphuoc26534 жыл бұрын
Ombro Pop filters are mostly to prevent debris from the mouth and popping sounds from getting to the microphone if it's directly in front of your mouth. If it's to the side, like in the remote/mike combo of a lot of earbuds, then there really isn't any effect that a pop filter will make. The mike is to the side of your face, so whatever sounds are coming through is as good as it gets. The kids can see the effort that you're putting through. I doubt they ever expected the quality of collaborative KZbinr teams (or hundreds of dollars of gear) and a disclaimer should be enough. I know that there were no alternatives back then, so I appreciated the extra medium of material covered.

Another idea might be to make one with some sort of circular frame with a thin sheet of a pantyhose pulled over it to put between you and the microphone. That's ultimately what many pop filters look like to me. :P

How good is this music video? I hum it so often even weeks after watching it for the last time. And the lyrics are classic Doormonster cleverness.

Creative, funny, topical, doesn't look like the company is holding a gun to your head for you to talk about it. I love this. :D

The way you implemented Hamilton in a CKIII skit is a genius skit. Bravo.
