Just what we needed with the current weather. How come u got someone in instead of using the massey n struatman
@Cotlandfarmer4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike, no i was chopping as well, had extra help as we only had two dry days to get 90 acres mowed and chopped. One wagon would only manage around 40/50 acres a day as we are hauling from 1.5 miles away from the clamp. 👍

Nice video were you picking up with your strautmann forage wagon as well? How did the class compare to the strautmann?
@Cotlandfarmer4 жыл бұрын
Yeah had two wagons going, the Claas wagon didn't chop as short as the Strautmann but it did have a lot of handy features on it. 👍

Lovely! Did ye use your own loader to buckrake?
@Cotlandfarmer4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, we had my jcb 310s on the clamp with a tractor rolling as well, with two wagons hauling in the jcb on its own didn't have time to roll the clamp properly. 👍

Nice video. How many wagons can you buy instead of a forager Gareth? Are you short on staff?
@Cotlandfarmer4 жыл бұрын
I only have one wagon myself, I called in a contractor to help out as we only had two days to get 90 acres cut and into the pit. 👍
