Fab installation. The black vessel from spectrum is definitely the way to go, especially with the high water pressure you can put through. It will be my next big purchase as you already said you would buy be a beautiful tancho showa, so I can concentrate on the black vessel now 🤣🤣🤣 Glad you turned the vyair the other way around, the hose is just great and the hose gun is brilliant there to clean the Nexus. You did great there young man 😊

Hi Jeff, another great video, I just recently added a big blue and water system, loving it easier to top up pond and water changes, no more hoses dragging round the garden lovely lol, but my filter house, come huge rabbit hutch lol still let's rain in no matter me putting plastic over the top dough. Cloverleaf all the way buddy.

That's a coincidence, I've just fitted a big Blue, after getting chloramine readings from my vyair, I'm running catalytic carbon, recommended by Andy Finch (Finch Filtration), and got large outdoor thermometer after "Derby Koi" posted link, don't have to squints much now lol.. Still envious of your tds reading, my guardian been running a month, it asked me to do calibration, so did Ph/conductivity probe, out the tap ph- 6.8, pond- 7.5, out the tap tds - 330, pond - 560.

Great minds think alike they say 😉how are you getting reads for chloramine, Andy flinch knows best with RO and big blues, I did contact him for advice but couldn’t manage to get hold of him, will hopefully go for one of his RO systems, the guardian also needed calibrating done it twice now since I have had it, will run all my test from tap and let you know, but am pretty sure I have set up correct👍🏻take care matey

@@just4koi143 I guess I should up my trickle in, maybe that will bring pond tds down to closer the tap tds, still curious how your pond is lower than tap tds? I'm using idip digital photometer from aquasource for all my pond perameters, expensive but been using it for about 4/5 yrs and found it reliable, I never trusted myself reading the coloured cards right with the chemical test kits. Ideally would like to get my pH down to 7 and tds around the 100 mark, so yeah, later on maybe recyclable ro is the way to go. Where are you in the country?

Spray gun lol. dpd 4 rapid are an immediate results. Don't shake the sample. I use a lolly stick to crush the tablet in the sample and then read the result. Glad you turned the 3 stage round, just neater heheh. You're gonna need a bigger filter house soon lol. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
