THE BEST AGE GAP?! 18 MONTH, 19 MONTH, 20 MONTH AGE GAP BETWEEN KIDS!

When we decided to have another baby right away after our first, I looked at videos like this all the time to see what other parents had to say about the age gap! I think the 18 month, 19 month and 20 month age gaps are the absolute BEST! (I may be a little biased lol) I know every age gap has it's good and bad bits but I absolutely stand by this age gap as the best!

I'm an old lady now but this video resonated with me. I have five brothers, and I love them all. However, the one I've always been closest to is the one who is 19 months younger than me. We've been "best buds" all our lives. I was only blessed with one child, but what you covered here sure makes a lot of sense.

this was so nice to stumble upon because i have just found out that we are having out third child. I wasnt exactly intednding for this third baby but here we are! We have a 10 year old and a 13 month old at the moment which is handy bc my aughter is a built in helper !

Congratulations! My boys are now 7 and 8 and I still stand by this age gap! We are having a great summer with activities they both enjoy, they get to play tennis together and are into the same shows and have lots of the same friends. Of course it has it's challenges, but I hope you find it as wonderful as our family has! xoxo

Mine are 2.5 years apart. I loved this age gap and wanted it again between Mason and any future third but it didn't work out that way. Ours are close enough that we were able to reuse everything but Logan was still old enough to somewhat help and be involved when Mase was a baby. And now that they are each a little older they are best buds but Logan is still in that protective older brother role. It's so cute. 💙💙

This video was so encouraging for me! I currently have a 13 month old and will be having another little one in December. I am so nervous about them being close together as far as dealing with the baby stage, but hearing your experience helps relieve some of that worry ❤️

We’ve now just started kindergarten for the little guy and first grade for our oldest. I still stand by everything I said, it’s worked out wonderfully!! Good luck and congratulations ❤️❤️❤️

@@apnayreviews4246 Overall things are going well for our little girls. The hardest part for me is being able to keep my oldest distracted when I have to nurse the younger one. We have given in to letting the older one watch TV but only let her watch Bluey :-) they definitely are showing signs of love for one another and it melts my heart to see it. My oldest is also not great with playing independently for long periods of time, so I definitely recommend working with your little one on independent play if you haven’t already. If they can play independently it helps a lot for when you have to focus on the baby.

Wow. My babies will be 20 months apart (due feb 2023) and this was very eye opening. Especially the group situations whether that’s activities or sports I never thought of that. Thanks so much

Congratulations! Mine are now in kindergarten and first grade and I still stand by everything I said! We just finished a summer of T-ball where they were on the same team with the same schedule and it made the summer super easy and fun!

My kids are 3 and 9 years old. Like you said, I was blessed to choose when we wanted kids. I wanted to be able to enjoy my oldest and now my 3 year old. My tactics put my husband on edge...😂 He wanted like a dozen kids.... 😳 We still plan on having one more. I'm trying to wait as long as possible, but since we're 36 and 37 he wants to move this last one along....

I had my twin girls and thought I was through but....I divorced and remarried and my current husband wanted one more. That turned out to be my second set of twins😯. They are 9 years and 4 days apart. Needless to say my uterus was worn out and I was scheduled to have a hysterectomy. When I went to the hospital for blood work before the surgery they told me I was pregnant again! 😬 so I had 3 in 19 months. They were all born in the same hospital and the staff there definitely remembered the 2 twins lady! I can tell you that the adolescent years are the worst especially for girls. I’m really proud of the fact that I made it through those years without anyone getting hurt 🤣😂 Have a happy weekend.

I did when I had both of my babies, but started to cut back once my husband was out of college. They are almost 5 and 6 now and I only work one day a week but will go back when they both go to school full day!

@@ClaireRisper oh ok 😊 I work full time from home and I want to give my 18 month daughter a sibling so definetly will save all her things for the next baby. Working full time is a bit challeging but only because of sleep deprivation but I'll survive 🙈
