Ultrasound alone is not sensitive for the diagnosis of prostate cancer, but ultrasound is used to measure prostate volume in the diagnosis of BPH, and can be used to guide biopsies for definitive prostate cancer diagnosis

Because I'm bisexual and I go both ways what it does is it scans the testicles for any little lumps meaning a cancerous growth of a tumor and that's what it shows on the screen they look for cancerous tumors or abnormal growths that could lead to cancer

When I got my abdominal USG done, when I was sick; the report said my prostate weight is 18 gm. How accurate is a normal abdominal USG while predicting this? Can they detect BPH?

Yes not directly but some usg findings suggest that it is bph like uvula vesicae hypertrophied median lobe into urinary bladder. Morever we suggest our patient to go for Sr. Prostate Specific Antigen (Sr. PSA) which is better. And risk factor for bph or cancer is age 55. Kindly subscribe bro

No, he's using the transvers view for the width. The last measurement shows the length/height.

Yes this ultrasound is much easier then the trans rectal one both measure the prostate size unfortunately getting both of them😮
