Just like snow....Telemarking the waste pile. The green crystalized rock was most likely epidote.

Nice, saved me a trip into that mine. Green rock is epidote, sprinkled with brown grossular garnet and white calcite, which together is known as a "skarn". I've found some nice garnets up there without even really looking as I was after the blue. Last mine is for dolomite. I've watched the portal partially collapse over the years. Never been in so thanks for showing the inside of that one too! Keep exploring!
