Clark Field Army Air Base 1946 (Manila, Philippines)

Task Force History presents "Clark Field Army Air Base 1946". These unpublished historical photographs were taken by an unknown soldier while serving as flight chief at Clark Field in the Philippines ca. 1946. Some of the themes in this video include Clark Field, Aircraft, C-46 flight to Formosa (Taiwan), Mount Arayat Volcano, remains of Manila after WWII destruction and indigenous Filipino people.
Update: Please note that the mountain shown at 1:07 has been identified as Mount Arayat by a viewer and is not Mount Pinatubo as stated in the video.

Believe the Mount being shown at 1:07 is Arayat, not Pinatubo.

I had orders to Clark but Mt Pinatubo eruption prevented that from happening.

You mis identified Mt Pinatubo. The photos are of Mt Arayat

And Mt Arayat is only about 18 miles from Clark.
