Well, knives actually do break during very violent stabbings. I listen to a lot of true crime, and when killers are in a frenzy, they can snap or bend knives on the person’s bones or floor if they push through. So if the person is thrusting really hard without expecting to hit something as hard as Clark I can see it happening.

Something I just noticed, when Clark fires the pistol at his own hand, he's still effected by the recoil. He shouldn't even feel it, being as strong as he is. The fact the hand that caught the bullets doesn't move kinda proves it. There's roughly equal force in the bullet impact as there is force of recoil.

Smallville has to be one of the most inconsistent iterations of Superman when it comes to his powers. Most of the time, Clark's power levels are changed for the story convenience. Like when he is shown as virtually indestructible in one episode, but then in dozen other episodes he is shown like he's being hurt whenever some meteor freak throws him at something. But the biggest BS is how kryptonite always has a different effect on Clark. In most seasons, if Clark is exposed to kryptonite, even in small dozes, he becomes physically inept, unable to move or even speak. But then, at the end of the second season, Clark holds a big chunk of kryptonite in his hand, but he still can move.

@@OverWims not when exposed to danger , its like a counter security measure. if you softly touch it or hit it with a little power it will adapt to change but if the hit reach a dangerous % it will resist like a steel. the same counter security measure is used now by the wood cutter machine to prevent people from cutting their fingers, if you turn it in something solid and hard it will cut threw it but if you mistakenly put your fingers ( a soft object) the machine will stop. that's why his body never move exposed to sharp object (like a stick hitting a rock) and that's why Clark can be easily slapped in the face (like a rock hitting a pillow) hhhhhh i hope i helped you understand , and sorry for my English :)

So I'm a but confused. Can someone explain the concept of invulnerability and its limits? Like i know you can't be physically harmed but does the invulnerability have limits? Can the person feel pain? Can they still be cut or have blood drawn? Can they be harmed by magic since it's technically a protection against physical harm?

Yes, there are limits to Clark's invulnerability. Early in the series, bullets would cause bruising and pain, but his body became stronger with age. Characters with super strength comparable to his own were capable of making him bleed. And he was also shown to be vulnerable to magic.
