One thing I love about Smallville, they put in a lot of effort with their visual effects. Rather than The CWverse shows sometimes reused shots, cutting corners with transitions and even just using the plot/monologue/exposition dialogues vice versa.

Speed was more impressive than the invulnerability in the sniper shot he blocked... I would like to know the math on his speed to get to Lana from wherever he was on the phone , to block a high powered rifle shot.

A sniper has a velocity of 3000 ft/s the shoot looked to be at most 100 yards or 300 ft. So clark had 1/10th of a second to intercept the bullet, if he was 5 miles away he would have to move at 50 miles per second minimum to intercept the bullet and that is with him being at full speed already. And at the end if he stops in 1 millisecond he will be about pulling 9 million G's
