Trapping in the Tall Grass 3 Catching the cunning Killers

There looked to be a number of very cunning, trap-shy dogs cruising around the area that had been trapped by some of the local coal mine workers on their "days off". Although well intended, this practice leads to very educated, hardened killers right in the middle of the calving areas. Time for a well thought out strategy.

That was a huge German Shepard looking wild dog, a likely calf killer, be good if your dogs can find his body so we can take a good look at him. He would've fought your dog's like a bastard when they baled him up.

Great video , bummer about the big dog giving you the slip after being shot And are your dogs ok after being bitten by the other dog? And would you need too be concerned about what diseases the other dog may have had other than the 223 lead poisoning.

Heya Clark, interested to know why you have those opinions on hunting in national parks, state forests, and ‘rough country’? Tasmanian national parks have limited hunting of red deer, and Victoria has a huge high country deer hunting program. NSW State forests have a very popular booked hunts system. All three examples have some tough as nails terrain and bush. Would you be willing to revisit the issue? I think we can all agree that nobody likes locked up national parks.

Just had a few hunters up for our red deer management project (formally the Ballot) and they used to hunt R lic once country all the time. Now, they cannot wait to get up to Qld onto our managed properties. Their reason, "Too many bloody L^*!#& coming up from Sydney and Melbourne into the SF areas, shooting everything they see". Do we want to see the same situation here is Qld? There are many reasons why it went work but equally a few ways that it can work. Will detail those as we go ahead.

Bit of both really. Any new scent, they will investigate, even if you stand in the one spot for a few minutes, they will come sniff the ground

As a rural lands dog trapper and retired fire captain I believe National Parks are the worst thing for the environment. We're my grandfather Iogged is now locked up by National Parks. The elders are making comments.
