Here we were, back at the tough stage of any trapline where you have to "Think long and Hard" about what you are seeing. Time to change it up a little, re-set and re-scent, second guess things and try a few tricks.
For more information and to keep up to date with our up coming episodes @ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry
or our Patreon Channel patreon.com/McGhiesCampFire
Here you will find some pretty interesting clips,

At Wild Country, we believe in telling the story as it is, as it happens, without the BS rhetoric and if we don't know, we'll try and find out. From the issues facing our hunters in Australia, to those facing our friends and family in Canada, the USA and Europe, we are all in this together and need to watch each others backs.

Australia needs to pay people like Mr McGhie to train up future generations of trappers to keep this craft alive.

You are right Clarke, without the millions of Wildebeest & Zebra the vast grasslands in Africa would disappear. If grass is left to just die it lays there as fuel & only slowly oxidizes & starves the ground instead of feeding it.

unfortunate but folks that fall for the cow fart issue and such just cannot rationalize a stupid statement for what it is. Gotta start thinking people!! Not everything you hear is gospel. Especially in todays world. Thanks for the video Clark!

The short tails with the bend in the end are probably due to inbreeding. A similar feature is also seen in cats on the Malay Peninsula. In fact Charles Darwin observed this and remarked on it on his voyage on the Beagle. There are genes which regulate the action of other genes. In this case they regulate the genes involved in formation of the spinal column. The genes are switched on and the spinal column including the tail progressively develops until the genes are switched off. If the genes are switched off too early development stops and you end up with a short, often deformed tail. In the case of cats at its most extreme there is no tail and the cat often also has bowel and bladder problems. With a small gene pool like you have on the Malay peninsula or like you have where I assume the dogs are confined to isolated pockets inbreeding allows this trait to spread through the population.

Ah, mate, your knowledge is lost on the green ignorant, whose understanding about things in the world has come from the woke intelligentsia. Ruminant gasses in current times are nothing compared with the farts of the millions of bison on the North American prairies. Waste of time trying to educate them until it is too late. Cheers and a hug for the Four legged mates.
