yeah, I can't remember if it's Clark's or Hayes which has been accused of just blatantly ripping off Hope in terms of the brake lever and caliper design. And then the Mpro or IIIpro brand ripped them off.

If it bleeds the same way, it probably is the same thing. Hopefully internals (pistons, seals and diaphragms) aren't the same.

I just finished 203mm rotors front and rear.. zitto hydraulic brakes. When it came to running the internal cable. I took the tip cap off the cable, stuffed inside the new hydraulic line kit. Duct tape it with a little space for flexibility, then pull it from the bottom up. Total success and I didn't have to buy that magnet line tool. 😂. First time ever. Works way better than cables. Love your channel 😁

Great episode as always. If you throw on the 9 speed freewheel, you should have a Sunrace M9 group to use with it.

TRPs bracket is the best I've used. There is no pin to remove, it just opens with the one screw that's used to tighten it.

Can you guys look into trying out a Marino Siqay, the off the shelf full suspension bike that Marino makes? It’s the cheapest full suspension bike with a steel frame by like 3x. Does it have 3x the value? Recently found your channel, like your guys’ style. Keep it up.

FYI these are the same as the IIIPro E4 brakes on Aliexpress. I have tried them and they look phenomenal but are not reliable, the brake levers start leaking oil. I swapped the levers but the caliper's bite point starts moving outwards no matter how many times I bleed them. Shimano M6120 brakes are not that much more expensive but I've ran them for > 2 years and they're incredible, they work better than my XT M8120's which have inconsistent bite point issues.

19:35 wolfman's 100% correct. i bought some Hope floating rotors which cost $85 a piece and both of mine rubbed for a while. Infact i bought one direct from Hope that was pretty badly warped and my local bike shop couldn't even completely straighten it.
@ninjazzrhythm4002 күн бұрын
Sorry but your bike shop probably didnt have the right tool. I mean the proper tool and they probably just have the brake rotor lever to bend it. They also need a dial gauge and stand to do it properly.

These are all the same brakes made by the same chinese company. Problem is finding replacement brake pads.Seems the only alternative to the original pads are Hope E4 pads which outside of the UK are not so easy to find.

Hey guys. I know this thread doesn’t pertain to the Aggressor Pro, but I have a question about it. I hope you and my friends here in Wolftick Nation can help. I have a GT Aggressor Pro I bought last year. I went down the rabbit hole of KZbin videos of people that have upgraded them and I want to do the same. But every bike shop I visit says the same thing, ‘don’t bother, because by the time you add all the parts you will be almost at the price of buying a new higher end bike that already has those upgrades’. I’m in Canada so the bike cost around $750 CDN to begin with. Here where I need all your help. Are all the bike shops here talking crazy? Or are they right, I may as well not touch it and just buy a higher end bike? Coincidentally, I was on a 16km ride today and the crank bolt came undone. Stripped the bolt so now I’m $150 CDN to get a new Shimano crank set. Curious to hear your thoughts folks.

If you're into upgrading, I think you'll end up with a pretty sweet bike, and you can spread the cost over time. If you are ok with spending a large amount of money all at once, then you can just go for the "better" bike. If you keep the GT and replace the crankset, you could get an IXF for pretty cheap. If you go IXF try to get some aluminum spacers rather than the plastic ones that you sometimes get with the IXF these days. When we have ordered IXF cranksets, it's been about a 50-50 split if they come with plastic or aluminum spacers. The GT is a good bike, but the biggest drawback is definitely the 34-34 headtube. Remember that most entry-level bike shop bikes will still have parts that you will want to upgrade pretty quickly. Not sure if y'all have Walmarts with the same bikes in your area, but there are some good options for around $300 to $500 dollars american that come with tapered headtubes.

Ive got an ixf crank on my gt avalanche works just as well as shimano deore would get a shimano bottom bracket tho they are smoother and last longer, if you go for 1x i highly recomend deore m5100 derallieur it works with 10 or 11 speed wide range cassettes and low price plus shimano shifters feel great, the avalanche has got a tapered head tube but im still running the suntour boat ancor and non boost qr dropout seems limiting on wheel upgrades factor all that in against a new bike like a high spec trek roscoe or top fuel on sale the parts on those bikes cost more than the complete build that being sed i still love the gt and will do a few more upgrades
