Here’s a two player game, short variant. This is our second playthrough. I think we were much more comfortable with rules and made a lot less mistakes. You’ll let me know! Turn on those Klingon subtitles for mistake fixes. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.

Nice playthrough! Much better than the first one where there were a few too many rules mistakes ;) At 16:30 you can not collect food from two sea spaces. Just one adjacent sea space so you should point your port to one space. Could come into play with pirates as well. It didn’t matter this time cause you could as well collect them from the plains but until next time. You may increase happiness in more than one city at a time which may have been beneficial. Hope to see a third playthrough!

Thanks - I will add Klingon subtitles. There were a few other minor ones that we still missed as well, but it was much smoother. Next should be even better! I'm enjoying CoC quite a bit.

It was around two hours. I edited AP and pauses. Still really fast for a 4x. Great game. Cannot wait to play again.

2 hours 4X empire builder vs 8 hr TI4 game on average, lol. Also, unlike Civ V, you can enjoy a full game in 2 to 4 hours instead of a week :P

interesting. me and my bro always get into battles sooner in a 1v1 because of the smaller map. usually its whenever our cities are within two spaces of each other because then you just build an army and use the ROADS advance to attack a city in the same turn. a fort and a temple in a city is very strong if you keep going down the advances into the government that gives you +2 combat in any city with a temple. also one error i saw: when red took back his city from the barbarians he shoulve gotten 2 gold. 1 for taking the city regardless of happiness or city size, and then 1 for killing a barbarian army that was defending it. and i think around the 39:51 mark when he recruited i believe you can only recruit 1 solider with a mood token, not 1 per. i could be wrong on that but ive seen it that way in other playthroughs and in our own. whats good though is the government just below that when you get a mood token for recruiting a soldier. so you can recruit for a single mood and then get one back. essentially ensuring you always get to recruit 1 soldier every time. also red shouldve gotten a culture token when he got the ROADS advance. and i think he forgot to pay the 1 food 1 ore for using the roads, twice, because 2 armies.
