This is nice, but let's be honest, animations are a little choppy. For eg. when one demo punches the another, it doesn't feel strong enough. Winglet's animations are by far superior.

Many people are competing, even Winglet, and there WILL be comparison. Little errors may make a difference between winning or not. I can't animate a finger, but i know these animations could use a little more tuning.

+Aiden Krupp I think the idea of a bunch of white men pitting two black men against each other was a bit offputting to the director, so they used a white Demoman model of some sort. Same knightly body shape and armor meshes but less racially striking.

Well done, and good animation. Now, the only thing that grated, only because I'm a stickler on medieval weapons, is that you can't actually draw a sword from a sheath on your back. It's not physically possible. Now, you can draw one from a sheath at any location on your sides, either onhand or off hand, but not the back. Regardless, well done with the animation. Have any other animations that I can check out?

+NinjaLayor I've read somewhere they used these sheathes where the bottom is a proper sheath, but the top section only has the lower side, allowing you to unshteath it halfway, then just swing it outwards.

serialkillerwhale That does sound intriguing, however, I fear that it would be, for the most part, impractical, given that it would cause the blade to easily rattle around, or worse, fall out.

NinjaLayor Not nessecarily, on average the bottom section is around the length of your average one-handed short/hand and a half sword, (Basically it can be as long as you can pull a sword out) giving it a fairly snug fit. The top section also only requires that the blade be able to swing out the "Top" side, and can be anywhere from a simple "Slide" at the bottom to a U-shaped tube as long as the rest of the sheath.

If I had to be honest I'd tell I wouldn't vote on it, but there's a reason that would apply only to few people there I think. Historically accurate techniques, movement and a bit of sense... this video lacks it.

I think the blue demoknight wasnt actually a Tavis Degroot clone. I think it was a generic white man (again hinting not a demoman clone). It was made easily generic by the helmet covering the face, yet still looking like a demoknight. Pretty good animation.
