I just realized. Usopp left a big impression/had a big hand in saving all the giants we've come across so far. Dorry, Broggy, Oimo, Kashii, and Hajrudin. I have a hard time thinking that the Roger Pirates wouldn't have swung by Elbaf at some point in their journey. Their voyage lasted for many, many years and it's been hammered home that Roger conquered the Grand Line. Perhaps Shanks knows them from his apprentice days with Roger, and Dorry and Brogy may very well have memories of the Roger Pirates visiting the island. How cool would it be if Buggy were to show up at Elbaf, and Dorry and Brogy recognize him as one of their brothers too?

2 theories: 1. Saul is the one that stops the Kidd and Shanks war, and for him to translate for Kidd, Shanks gets a copy too since if it wasn’t for Shanks old captain Ohara might not have as many poneglyphs to study and Saul is doing it out of good will. 2. I want to point out a very likely scenario, in my opinion, on the Dorry and Brogy duel situation: They did not finish their duel, but simply paused it for the greater good, as Tekking suggested? I am 100% confident to see them still fighting, assuming they live through the dawn of the new world, in the epilogue. Maybe it'll just be like "Sooo Dorry, where did we leave off? Right-" *punching starts again*. Or the other option is that some sort of new stupid conflict occurs "I contributed more to Luffy's victory! I took out 20 thousand enemy pirates and marines", "Heck I defeated at least 30 thousand during my lunch break" or something along those lines. In short: I am fairly certain their eternal battle is just halted, and they will continue to fight after they finished the business that they came to Elbaf for.

Possibly that defeat, despite not counting, ended up being what tipped the scales. He was still injured, and would be slightly weaker in the next fight, so while he still draws but takes slightly more injuries. And it keeps adding up. 20-50 duels down the line, It's enough to break the statement. A small mistake, a flinch of pain at the wrong time, and the duel ends.

I was always under the impression that they put aside their differences the moment they did their combo attack to kill the giant goldfish that was blocking the path of the strawhats. My take on haki : A swordsman only cuts what he wants to cut. The more advance techniques require a combination of observation and armament you can’t do them without combining the two. It is with observation one Can see/feel the flow of ryou l/haki / mantra and push or coat the object / sword / arm. For those that have conquerors . You apply the same concepts to create even more powerful techniques but doing so is more draining both mentally and physically. It is with observation one can hear the voice of an object. One can predict or hear the intent. The more advance the user is the more he/she can see into the future.

I think that the giant snake that causes ragnorock (I can't spell its name) represents the red line because they both are unbelievably giant things that circle the whole world and before dorry and broggy use the spear of elbaf to kill the island eater they say the only think they can't kill is the giant snake covered in blood. So when the red line falls which would be the end of ragnorock, it would also be the end of the celestial dragons which would be the end of the current world we know and would lead to the start of a new world without the oppression of the celestial dragons. That's my theory on how the one piece world ties in with norse mythology.

Tekking it’s not so far fetched that Vikings wore horns on their helmets. Helmet discoveries are few, but what we do know from historical accounts is that they use to use animal bone in their steal weapons because they thought it would imbue it with the spirit of the animals, but in actual fact the carbon content in the bone mixed with the iron provided a very crude steal and was somewhat better than the standard iron swords used at the time.
