The only valid concern is that victory formation is a tacit agreement to not hit each other, in a close game I would probably bitch about it because it's about avoiding meaningless plays where you could get injured though we were mathematically almost both out of the playoffs anyway.
@lilcameron21
@lilcameron21 8 ай бұрын
@@0Clewi0 agreed, but the formation is nicknamed the “victory formation” based of the history of the play being used primarily by teams who have won and plan to run the clock out. There’s no rule requiring it to be specific for that purpose only. “Unspoken” rules are the agreement to a verbal agreement, they don’t hold up in court. I’d say the same energy should be kept for “trick plays” because now you see, the “victory formation” can now be a trick play. However, trick plays are celebrated for the creativity. When I played football, you play till the whistle and you fight till the last whistle. As long as you do that, you’re good. The game is inherently violent so saying the play could cause someone to sustain an injury is hypocritical.

@@jgeiger19 They lined up in victory formation because that is what the coach called. They stayed in victory formation so the coach wouldn't call time out for being in the wrong formation so they could get away with doing the play. They did it because their RB hadn't scored a TD all season. People have a big problem with it like Shannon Sharpe does because it hints at a recklessness that gets in the way of achieving the ultimate goal that is so very had to do. Winning a championship. And Jameis Winston has never displayed that level of competency or discipline. My points about were about how some players who have incentives in their contracts can be sabotaged by management from getting them. So I understand Shannon Sharpe's point of view. LOL When the head coach is not included in the TEAM, and all supporters are 100% with you Jameis. This interview nails the state of the Saints. He who agrees with DA, disagrees with the... TEAMMMM.

The problem is that y'all lined up in the victory formation when you scored. That's like a sucker punch.

Players should never apologize for scoring a touchdown. The coach can feel how he feels but that is a ridiculous expectation from the media.

He owned it and was articulate on why (agree or not). Can't go crazy on that. The coach should have backed up his players. Makes him like look weak and that he is not respected.

He is a dumbass who committed a classless act against a team down by 41 -17 with a minute to play and more importantly he told D.A. F you and did what he wanted to do. He needs to be cut ASAP!

I can tell you’re black and that’s why you’re writing this comment. In your eyes it’s the black man is right and the white man is wrong. You’re slow

@kmoliere504 I had no idea the saints fans had this issue with the coach, not a team I think about much. Hope the situation gets figured out down there.
