God i love how the tenacity of Bakugo and the actions and decisions of Midoriya influenced so much class 1A decision making...before doing something, it's what would Deku or Bakugo would do ? Or Idaa ? Or Todoroki...

To be fair, Bakugo influences nobody, except Midoriya for plot ( like when other students say things like : " Oh, he moves like Bakugo ! " as if runing and jumping is the same thing than literally flying ( 'cause Bakugo f**ks everything, including physics :p ). Deku moves more as an improbable mix of Ingenium ( exact same way to climb buildings ) and Gran Torino. ). But, here, Aizawa isn't even able to see the leader in Deku when 75% of his class is behind him, USJ's events have definitely weakened his sight :D. PS : Cela étant, mon petit doigt me dit que je m'emmerde pour rien avec l'anglais, sur ce coup, je vais donc pouvoir préciser ma pensée plus aisément. Bakugo est un archétype standard de ce type de shonen, un archétype à l'utilité douteuse, sorti de l'intérêt marketing, s'entend, censé servir de motivation à un personnage principal qui en a déjà plein sa besace. Hors, comme ce type de personnage est souvent loin derrière, et c'est particulièrement le cas pour Bakugo qui ne peut pas crédiblement être ne serait-ce que top 5 de sa classe ( Objectivement a minima Deku, Shoto, Froppy, Uravity, Creaty et Tsukuyomi sont et/ou sont appelés à être meilleurs qu'il ne le sera jamais, et en fonction de leur évolution à venir d'autres pourraient l'être également ), les mangakas sont contraints de recourir à des deus ex machina ,et autres tabassages en règle de la suspension consentie d'incrédulité, et des assertions d'autres personnages pour créer l'illusion. Cela étant, au vu de l'évolution du manga, je ne désespère pas qu'Horikoshi ne fasse pas la même dramatique erreur que Kishimoto qui a passé des années à ne savoir quoi faire de son Sasuke, qui aurait dû mourir dans la Vallée de la Fin, ruinant l'écriture de son œuvre phare.

@@bigbro6446 I'm on Aizawa side on this one...Iida is a leader, Bakugo and Midoriya are models...it's different but both are important...I've read the manga and it's more and more the case...don't want to spoil a thing ! :)

@@jean-philippedoyon9904 Iida is probably a good class rep, but he isn't a field leader at all, and you must know it if you read the manga ;). **Spoiler Zone** In the Common Training Arc, Shoto's team is the only one of 1-A class wich hasn't any field leader, despite Iida's presence, only a vague strategy. Bakugo serves as a field leader for his team because he isn't able to accept orders ( and we can't even really talk of leading or strategy, straight forward and see ). On the other hand, Deku, Froppy and Creaty naturally took field leader role without this raising the slightest question or protest. These three characters have the confidence of their teammates who follow them without question, whatever the team up, except for Bakugo ( the only character ever to be unable to work with Deku, even characters who know him since 15 seconds can do that ), it's an undeniable fact ;). And even during summer camp, when they ran after Mr Compress. Deku's improvised plan was just crazy and nobody protested. He exposed it, assured he could stand up and everyone did the job, no question, no hesitation. It would be completely blind to not see the field leader in Deku ;).

This show never disappoints with it's amazing character work, or you with your amazing reactions. Just seeing Aizawa that open about how much he respects his class was amazing. Especially since by now we know just how high his standards are. And yet again, the show does amazing use with 'filler', most of this ep was never in the manga, neither Todoroki nor the group with Momo's battles were seen, just them having had won. Hence why their antagonists all wore near identical uniforms and mostly looked so normal compared to the usual massive array of unique looks we see everywhere else.

Fun Fact: Seiko Intelli and that school and the girls that came with her are all anime original characters by Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the BNHA manga. He also wrote that Yaoyorozu team story for the anime. None of this was in the manga. But I loved it~ Season 4 is in 3 months, hun!!! You've got 8 episodes left to watch! Go slooow ~ There's also the All Might Rising OVA (only subtitled but on KZbin)

One of my favorite moments was when Yaomomo handcuffed Intelli, while weakened, and just as Intelli was going to hit her targets out of spite, Jiro, Shoji, and Tsu barge in ready to throw down and help Yaomomo. Like they said, "That's how Class 1-A is." (Even Mina saved Mineta last episode, and he sincerely thanked her.) All twenty of them are their own team of friends. At the end of the day, you do NOT mess with Class 1-A.

Once more me see how Bakugo, Midoriya and Momo have the most versatile quirks of the whole group...they can do anything and improve the others !! Uraraka is close, limited only by what she have around her...They all have room to improve...but those 3 are just on another level of creativity !

I mean, I'm bias because I really love Tokoyami, but I'd say he has an extremely versatile quirk too. We've only seen it used mostly in its (creature) form, but if you go back to season 1 and 2, you can see that Tokoyami can change the shape of it to whatever he so wishes. Moreover, not only is it good at close and ranged attack, but it also has some of the best defense in the entire class and it works in all directions (omni-directional, mid-ranged). Moreover, it can be a great support quirk, as you'll see later on this season and with it being sentient, can actually help the user itself. Finally, it's mobility. Black Ankh alone (tokoyami's special move) allows him to move around a lot more quickly and easily (in a spiderman-esque sort of way), and he gets some other stuff (manga spoilers) that REALLY buffs his mobility.

@@mustardyboi4187 His quirk is almost useless outside of pure combat situations, it's not versatile ;). Incidentally, Bakugo makes illusion because he breaks rules of physics. Since his explosions come from the chemical composition of his sweat, he has no real control over their power. He shouldn't be able to fly without to break his own bones ( he couldn't still be maintained at a constant altitude, he hasn't reactors, he generates explosions in a loop, always more powerful as more as he sweats and he should suffer backlash each time, there is no way for this technique to work ). And he should be largely less powerful than fandom believes it, because explosions are intrinsically more impressive than powerful ;). IRL, we can generate powerful explosions because we generate them without container, or with a destructible container, but Bakugo needs his arms. Anyway, a quirk almost useless outside an only kind of situation isn't versatile ;). Bakugo's quirk is one of the less versatile in MHA universe, it's a fact.

I'm not sure if someone already told you, but this episode was actually a filler episode by the series. In the manga, we got only brief glimpses at Todoroki and Momo's gang passing. The show took those moments and really expanded on them to help fill the gap and really make things shine. I would say the only canonical material going into this episode, was the stuff with the Shiketsu guy and Bakugo, along with Midoriya's team

Also I don't know if you noticed this fact, but way back in the first episode, the Narrator (Adult Deku) said this is the story of he became the greatest hero ever. People often forget that part. There are reminders throughout the series. Just pointing out a nuance some people forget because its such an engaging story.

Okay I don't normally do this but I not too long ago started rewatching a favorite from me high school days so I thought I'd recommend it... assuming you haven't already watched it mind you but something to add to your reaction docket in the future. It's called "Steins;Gate". It's about a group of amateur scientist (I'm being generous with that title) named the Future Gadgets Laboratory led by Okabe Rintarou but whom only answers to his alter ego, the self proclaimed mad scientist bent on world domination, "Hououin Kyouma". Upon their experimentation on a modified microwave they accidentally invented an honest to goodness time machine that can send digital information to the past and they begin to send text messages and emails, altering reality as they do but for some reason Kyouma is unaffected by the change. As they continue their research they become the target of an international corporate conspiracy that previously failed the very task they've accomplished. If you've ever seen the movie primer this is that but the anime and it's a trip. It leans on hard scifi and can be very thinky thinky but it's also very offbeat juxtaposition of tones... like if the cast of the big bang theory was not leading a sitcom but a Micheal Crichton novel and led by one of the most entertaining protagonists of the mid 2000s. The science complex but the story earnest as hell. It's based off a visual novel of the same name and the second installment of the Science Adventure Series by nitro+ and considered a pinnacle of visual novel to television adaptation. It's excellent in both dubs so I'm told I haven't watched it subbed but I do recommend it in English. This is a pitch perfect dub worthy of Cowboy Bebop, I often forget that I'm watching a translation and as will be of interest to you the show is led by J. Michael Tatum, or as you know him, Tenya Iida! There I'm done. I had fun writing this, sorta was an excuse to write about a show I like.... so yeah

I Just noticed the one person in class 1A she might not be able to keep contained like she did if he was other there which would be Deku as he has no known weaknesses other if he goes over his power limit he breaks or strains his muscles and bones. So she was lucky Deku didn't find them before they entered the building.

So if Nezu's quirk is being smarter than a human, his IQ is EASILY way above 150, because that information probably accounts for the doubling of normal IQ via quirks, since that girl's quirk is registered, right?
