A great video again Les as per the norm a great capture of the tractors comeing up through the switches and those RHTTs 68s sounded perfect to me , shame about all the delays on avanti west coast trains , they have the fastest trains of which well over half have been refirbished they also have the tilting mechanism yet they can't run a decent time table that is abysmal it really is . Shame this useless government has not got and backbone and take the franchise off them . thanks for sharing Les a brilliant video top man take care a t b Syd👍👌

Nice start to the Santa Train day at Bo'ness - wonder if the 11:30 to the North Pole (aka Birkhill station) will depart on time - should do as Avanti aren't involved in running the trains 😅. Excellent as always Leslie.

Thanks! Found out today the cancellation followed a preceding Pendo (two ahead of the cancelled one) damaging its pantograph going Down Shap so maybe not their fault after all. Santa was on the Waverley trip from York with Scotsman this afternoon too!

I saw 37518 An Gearasdan solo light engine movement at 15:24 on 6th December at Dunblane. I don't know what happened to 37685 Loch Arkaig between Carlisle at Dunblane.

Hello, Leslie.. looked like a pretty day for it all. Nice selection, but also always sad to hear there were cancellations and more distress for passengers. Big run of wood and one of the locos looked like a big bird got hit. Yikes. Anyhow, cheers to you and all!

I wonder why the RHTT service doesn't use the avoiding line connecting the Maryport and S&C lines instead of manoeuvring into Citadel. That was quite a drippy day.
