Some Networkers had their regenerative braking turned on back in the late 90s. When visiting relatives in London back then you could clearly hear that it was active (465s).

They should turn all the regenerative back on all of these trains

WTF is wrong with these units? It's like half of them are nice and half of them creak obsessively like their life depends on it
@jr-jadenrailways8032 Жыл бұрын
They only creak when coupled, proved here when 465919 wasnt coupled to any other unit. Some 465s are just seriously bad but I guess here shows that coupling has something to do with it - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpKrin6khambmZYsi=qGnqk9sii2V6M96L

When I was on 919 it was sandwiched between a 466 and a BREL 465 as seen at the end and creaked... interesting

Be careful, at anytime they can disable the regen, it has already been disabled on coach 65718
@protrainspotting7868 Жыл бұрын
Idk if regen has been disabled on 919 but I went on it today on the Bromley north line, it was having severe problems with the motors and the motors wouldn’t sound when accelerating or de-accelerating so it may or may not have been disabled

Hi what's the difference between normal breaking and regen breaking?
@awesometrainsandbuses Жыл бұрын
With regen braking, you can hear the motors as it comes to a stop. Normal braking on 465s is silent as it comes to a stop
