I personally would love it survival was a hybrid. Carry a bow for range and a dagger or sword for melee spells.

It would be really interesting if blizz let survival carry a ranged and a melee weapon yeah. like melee and ranged fury warrior or hunter class of dnd. Ranged weapon would scale the ranged spells and melee weapon would do the melee.

You can already do that in retail it's dumb and nobody does it. In combat you can change between polaearm and ranged weapon. Fire off arcane shots and steady shots. This is dumb. Want range play MM or bm.....

@@TeronGore no, you would need 2 full weapons for 1 spec, no thank you. i main survival since shadowlands s1. the spec is fine the way it is. the only change i may want is to make the spec a tank one. like rexxar.

I was super ok with arcane getting huge damage nerfs. But the “bug” (which I don’t think it was) turned it back into an arcane blast turret and idk what they were thinking. Everyone was telling them arcane was so fun and to please not change the play style. Well they did

I think u will get one, bec u have 3 points on left, middle and right and one final node. So that 10 in total not counting the 1st node so I think we will get that automatically

what they should honestly do is make all 3 specs of mage all do around the same dmg and let you enjoy the spec you find fit/fun to ur gamestyle, cause its always gonna be the rotation of arcane is top then fire then frost etc each season, we dont need 1 spec for each class to come on top, we want balance between each spec to enjoy it.

Everyone would just play frost mage. If frost mage and arcane mage did the exact same damage then why would you not just play the one with better CC too? Damage, survivability and utility should differ between classes and specs to offer class and spec identity. Each spec has different pros and cons to make your choice meaningful. Otherwise it's just the same spec with different coloured spells.

@@layze72 Sadly, with the homogenization of classes, frost isn't clearly better at CC than arcane. At least in retail, both have access to the same hard crowd control skills, with arcane having Supernova and Arcanosphere as a bonus. You could argue the built in slows and roots from frost would make them apply more cc, but with chrono shift (at least until its removed in TWW) arcane has a spammable 50% slow and 50% speed boost. I agree that specs should have individual identity, but frost would need its CCs buffed to make them comparable to losing overall DPS. Also consider that slows and roots are useless against most raid bosses, so why pick a cc class for raiding if said cc is useless for that content. If we're talking pvp, I have an easier time countering melee as Arcane than as frost. If the main benefit of the frost spec is supposedly added cc, but most melee can remove said added cc, then the point becomes invalid.

Feral was already looking good in pvp, regrowth change will be really nice. Feral looks pretty bad in pve though, needs damage help there

@user-vm8tz8lr4n I'm hoping the procs are still there. I checked and the old wording for the wildfire bomb portion was written as "explosive shot reduces the cooldown of wildfire bomb." Now the updates say "Casting explosive shot reduces the cooldown" - Hopefully the only change is now proc explosive shots will no longer reduce the cooldown of wildfire bomb, but the procs still exist

I like how blizz give arcane mage 5 mins and now will kick this spec till end of the expansion, same was with last, 2x buffs at the beginning and then 4x nerfs.... enjoy

Holy paladins already are mediocre imo,now they nerf holylight by 20%? I've been a paladin main since vanilla beta,but honestly I may swap to my priest alt at this point.
