Great video! Would like to have seen more on how the gears mesh up on the inside of the case. But over all it's very informative. Thanks!

Thank you for your kind words and glad you enjoyed the video. The ring gear on the diff basically meshes with the smaller drive gear on the inside of the case. All the gears etc are contained in the upper part of the gearbox and cant be seen without dismantling. I hope this makes sense 😁 I am also not a gearbox expert. Maybe you could tell 😂

Would those gaskets you added in the end as spacers help to eliminate a 'diff whine'?

The gearbox will whine if the lash is not correctly set. Hope this answers your question. Jamie

You could Recondition / paint the Spring that already look rusted

Owners manual says 9 O'clock with sealant in the seam on the boots.
