Is it really 50 years, can't believe I am still here. I was 17 when this album came out. I bought it straight away, and it has been a favourite of mine since those wonderful days. Great interview just wish I could of heard the album through that sound system.

Great interview. Being Canadian, we love, love, love the Diamond certified (in Canada) CRIME OF THE CENTURY! We need EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS to be re-released and remastered on vinyl - sooner than later. It, too, is a real gem that has disappeared from the music scene. Somebody please talk with the record company to bring back EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS. Until then...we can bask in the creative beauty of CRIME OF THE CENTURY.

Great to hear Ken Scott in the interview. He really nailed it with Supertramp and Elton John (DON'T SHOOT ME I'M ONLY THE PIANO PLAYER) and others. Interesting how long it took music engineers and producers to get that critical drum sound just right prior to recording. It certainly paid off.

Only found this because I had the 50th Anniversary in my diary. Can't understand why KZbin has never show it when I have been searching and searching for more information on Crime Of The Century. Such a shame it has less than 2k views. Excellent interview, loads golden nugget anecdotes. Crime is Supertramp's masterpiece - never understood why it isn't always mentioned alongside Dark Side of The Moon as being the peak of prog/psychedelic rock. The recording and musicianship is sublime. Met my wife 49 years ago at a gig during the Crime of The Century tour. It has remained our most played album ever since (and yes, still married!)
