I made your apple pie and it was delicious! Thank you. I used home grown apples which made it even better. Luckily, the deer and elk left us a few!

Your personality and presence on your videos is exceptional! You have a kind way of drawing the viewer in with memorizing cooking or gardening lessons! Thank you Kaleb! Just had surgery and you are just what the doctor ordered for my recovery road!

I just learned something new. Baking on the lower rack will cook the crust on the bottom. Beautiful pie!

You know, I am 66 years old and can make almost anything…..but pie crust! I’m gonna try your way cause you make look so easy. Thanks Kaleb! 😊

I love waiting for your little hop or dance step when you taste anything you make Kaleb. Im 74. I have made one apple pie in my lifetime. It was hilarious. I made a top crust pie.The crust was baked well. But it was 3 inches above the apples. I used a lot of apples too. It just poofed up. What caused that? Well it wont happen this Thanksgiving cuz im making this crumble on top. Your baking is exceptional. I mean you need your own cooking show on tv. You are better than Martha Stewart.
@janetwise3248 Жыл бұрын
There is a lot of empty space between the apples when you put the top crust on. The apples cook down and it leaves a space between the fruit and the crust. To avoid this you may put the apples in the microwave for a minute or two to wilt them before putting them in the pie.

That must’ve been impossible waiting overnight. Looks amazing 😊

Looks like you were getting some stormy weather there, perfect way to warm up the house and make it smell cozy. Perfect breakfast the next day, too. You make a good point that it might take a few tries to get it right, but if your apples are good the pie will be good even if it looks a bit rough. Thanks for this one!

When I was growing up my grandparents and my parents always had a slice of cheese with their pie. (Not like Kraft singles or something like that) They had a saying, “a piece of pie without some cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze!”❤️

good recipe......mine uses light brown sugar, tapioca (instead of the flour mixture), and also nutmeg and cloves with the cinnamon And for variations, I have added raisins, walnuts, a drizzle of caramel on the apples before the topping, a bit of mincemeat mixed in with the apples, and whatever suits my fancy that day.

That’s not a classic apple pie 🤔Apple pie has a pie crust on the top .. it may be what you Americans call classic but apple pie was old English and this isn’t traditional 🤷♀️🇬🇧
