Hi Richard . The US Marine Corp still use the Harrier . My brother had a 700 Coupe and was clocked at 102 mph across Stone Henge late one night towing his Sprog sailing boat with all the gear and crew member . When the police stopped him and asked what it was they couldn't believe it was only 700cc and let him off 😊Cheers Richard .

I really enjoyed this as it was full of variety and interest, and it is good to see that your "youthful assistant" is still as enthusiastic and interested because he is at an age when things of childhood are often shrugged off. You and family must be rightly very proud of him. Glad the Pilot is even healthier after your wiring work, and that you will keep the Ferggy, which like many of we country bumkins was the first vehicle we started to drive, though in my case albe it standing as I 'wus gaar laarl' the a we say in Cumbria! Thank fro the fun and knowledge. Rob

Hi Richard. I love both BMW's. Especially the 1960s white model. Very rare indeed. Complete with the old style hat in the back. I wear trilby hats sometimes. I like the 1960s style of fashion. Your Jag is looking good. Your dashing youthful assistant suits being behind the wheel of it. Did you know there is a type of cheese called Dunlop like the Tyre. I haven't tried it. It might be a bit rubbery. Ha !. Thanks for your video. From Carl in NZ.

@oldclassiccarUK I was watching the TV game show The Chase. It's your British show with Bradley Walsh. And one of the questions was which of these three answers is a type of cheese. One of the three answers was Dunlop. It's a cheese. I didn't know that either. Apparently it's a British cheese.

Cool trailer - has almost an aeronautical look about it, as if it had been made from an old fuselage

I have wondered whether the outer skin fitted to the trailer did have a previous use, there are one or two holes that don't make much sense

One of the most interesting videos about bits and pieces the tractor will be good for all the moving when it's fixed and the extension will hopefully house the Jag as it will need to be under cover for the winter Harley is so good at driving especially as he drives all sorts of vehicles he won't be any problem come test time very useful guy keep us entertained with more like this as and when possible

Lovely to see the AVRO Anson. My Dad did a lot of RAF training in those during the War. Did I miss something - what was the point of moving everything around at OCC HQ ? Great to see the Pilot out and about - I do love that car - my favourite of all your fleet. Thanks for all your interesting vodeos - take care 🙂

Glad it was of interest, the main idea was to move the trailer so that I can carry on pulling down the old shelter. With the Jeep soon to go, I wanted to get the trailer moved.

Well I have often wondered what was under the tarpaulin but I didn't want to be rude and ask! That trailer like big Dodge is a real piece of history and I think a bit of a clean up one day would be very interesting. I think the paint on the Pilot just spruces up the engine bay a bit rather than having too many colours and of course not correct colours. I did guess the last spark plug was a Bosch by the green stripes but I am not sure about one of them. I do remember the parking lights on cars. I think there were a number of reasons for having them, one being 6 Volt lighting on some cars of that era. I think the quality of street lighting played a part too. It was a shame the Avro could not fly but safety is the important thing. Nice to see the Harrier up close as well they were such a fantastic design. Thanks Rick for the video, a bit of everything in there which is not a bad thing. 👍👍

Beautiful job, i also think traditional there should have been a retainer on the inside of the bearing, maybe they delete them now. Love your work.

Hi. re Henry " not being a fan of the Pilot"..... very much doubt he ever heard of it as he died in winter 1947 & was quite removed from the company a few years before that! It was understandable Ford Britain came out with a quick minor update of the '30s Model 62 V8, Most people today would think a Pilot was more aged than 1947-51. They are a stylish '30s design.
