The only Halo ad I remember is the last one, where the old jingle was mocked and destroyed. At the time (late '60s) I wondered when that song had been used, because here they made it sound '20s instead of '50s, which it actually was.

These commercials are literally an escape now due to the fact that the only advertising now is done by lawyers’ firms, hospitals with unaffordable services, and anything else that stinks worse than mushy dog business on your shoe. It’s all been taken by billionaires today.

The Frito Bandito was actually only around for 2 or 3 years. He was one of the earliest characters the PC cops went after and removed from TV. Even Mel Blanc, who did his voice, couldn't understand why they went after him because the voice is basically the same as Speedy Gonzales' voice, and no one went after him.
