I tried out Classic Fresh! For anyone who doesn't know, there is a Fresh Classic Era Movement on Zandalar Tribe EU & Deviate Delight NA! Really excited to see how this movement grows over time. Couple of takeaways: - This movement is still fresh (hehe) and it's a snowball effect, will likely grow over time - NA massively more popular than EU atm, likely due to most (if not all) streamers being on the NA server - Apparently Cataclysm is Dead on Arrival because there was 900 people online at the same time in Classic Era (kekw) - Enjoying Season of Discovery is fine. - Enjoying Cataclysm Classic is fine. - Enjoying Classic Era is fine. - Let's come together and just play WoW and have a good time and stop the cultism of only being allowed to enjoy one version of the game and needing to express our hatred for every other version.

SOD was not as great as a had hoped. I only played Classic to Wrath as I'm not a fan at all of Cata. If these servers pickup popularity I may jump back in. Always up for another 1 to 60 grind.

I remember back in Nost saying that real Blizzard made vanilla would be amazing if only to have my characters last forever. I had several toons on Deviate Delight, now all gone. I had several toons on Grob, now all gone. So what's the f'ing point if Blizzard just deletes my characters? Fck Blizzard. They will never get my money again. Server mergers should not be my problem, and SoD only reveals to me that Blizzard is utterly clueless about why Classic exists. Vanilla wow revival is BECAUSE the game got destroyed by expansions, so saying expansions are "Classic" is now repeating the same mistake they made before. They continue to split their player base, not nourish version specific audiences, and will lose their audiences to pservers once again. All Blizzard does is throw the baby out with the bathwater, because money with minimal investment of energy is all they care about. Pservers serve a specific community, because they have to target a niche market to survive even among themselves. Blizzard is pure corporate greed and serve only themselves. Pservers have become better at meeting customer needs than Blizzard, which is a very sad state of affairs for the industry.

Great video man! Here’s a tip for ya, I so agree what you said at the end of the video. I’m loving cataclysm clsssic so far and it’s my first time experiencing it as well, as I enjoyed clsssic wow til wrath classic. Everyone deserves to play the version of the game the way they want to play it, but I sure dislike cowards like that guy on twitter saying cataclysm is dead on arrival bringing other people down, just because he doesn’t like cataclysm.

I know phase 3 more or less killed SoD or atleast the hype about it with phase 4 will ofc be better but from this day to end of SoD we only get 1-2 NEW things: Kara Crytp and just maybe that Scarlet raid. Now you're telling me I am gonna spend 6+ months of gameplay doing the same raids of Classic 2019 with just 1-2 new things to it? Pass. HOWEVER. With that said and I will try to make this as constructive critisism, but why would those who are really looking forward for p4 ditch ALL their work for a fresh now? All the supply crate and rune farming etc. A fresh would be more hyped and welcomed AFTER SoD ends. Because we ain't getting "SoD season 2 or Classic+" anytime soon.

Probably never or until Firelands. The guild I was in for Phase 1 was a huge mismatch on every level, and finding a new guild has been difficult. At this point I have no motivation to go hard for the current P1 raids, so next raid hype for me is Firelands.

clsasic players that force a fresh, are not only living under a rock, they're choosing to stay under it. Why on earth would blizzard ever want to direct players to the least monetizable version of the game by actually releasing a fresh classic server when they could be directing players towards $80 cata boosts and $30 retail transmogs. Obviously theres different kinds of players, but Blizzard arnt silly enough to actually release a fresh classic server in the middle of cata/sod and retail

Yes people begging for fresh are at this point a net negative for everyone. Playing vanilla wow was never about playing the first 4 months on loop. That's all the fresh people ever last anyway. They want to be able to run non-stop dungeons on the release of fresh and just stay on top of dungeon gear through shear time commitment and beat players in PvP that way. This is the only ecosystem these people can survive in. The we need fresh people very rarely play past BWL if they even play past 30. Classic era is fine. Play on PvE it's way less toxic and the auction house is not broken/insane inflation

This game boils down to one thing: Gear Score. You need a gear score to advance in quests. Clearly Blizzard clearly doesn’t want new and returning players. I’m warning you to find a different game. I just returned and am extremely disappointed at being left out of quests where we’re supposed to get new gear. So how are we going to advance our gear score if we can’t join group quests. Do NOT come back to this game.

2019 Vanilla nostalgia got me into classic WoW after 10 years and it was another epic journey. Recently a friend told me that there was an official fresh server and I did a research only to find out that there wasn't any.. so that's why I am here. CATACLYSM is just an LFG GAME and then you just RAID-LOGIN or ARENA-LOGIN. It's absolutely dumb to play CATACLYSM instead of RETAIL. On the other hand VANILLA WOW is the real mmorpg experience, but we have play it many times... sounds boring. So still no sub for Blizzard :)

Even with geared groups or raids VANILLA dungeons and raids can be way harder and trully painfull. Also in RETAIL you can choose the difficult you want all the way up to the impossible. CATA dungeons and raids are pepega. CATA is ass.. RETAIL is improved ass. For the records real WoW died at 2009, with some good nostalgia at 2019.. end of story newbie.

@@zoologic1190there is not one raid or dungeon that was even remotely difficult in vanilla. Some of the fights that were “hard” were only hard because of the stupid stuff you had to do for it. I.e. AQ40 frost shit fest boss. Cata has better raids in every phase. Some cata dungeon bosses are more difficult than any vanilla raid boss. Vanilla could be amazing with class changes and boss tuning. Vanilla had some of the best lore, but it lacks difficulty, complexity, a decent combat system and class design.
