please reply: im looking for a game right now, so i saw this game. is Prototype like Gran theft auto, but you just cant shoot or hijack cars, but can jump off buildings and kill people using ur sword hand things? also, can u do free play and just run around new york killing people and throwing taxis? please reply somebody.

im at the point in the game where almost everywhere there are millitary bases and the whole island is infected idk after i beat story if its any diffrent

you need to sabotage the viral detectors, theres a time delay b4 they become red and alert the base. to sabotage, you have to press a sequence of 4 numbers and each time you try, the sequence change. after that, you can sabotage any viral detector.

I think you should it is one of my favourite games ever. Not only is the action and missions in the campaign really fun and challenging but there are tons of side events, collectibles and achievements to get. I pre-ordered it when it came out and haven't stopped playing it since then.

I am such a big fan of prototype! But now when radicall entertainment has shut down i hope that if they make a prototype 3 i hope that they will not fuck it up to like: prototype 3: blacklight ops or some shit. But of course. Why should that happen.

Arohx Sounds good. But I think it would have issues though. Games like this takes a lot of fps. So if they did create a Prototype that had multiplayer, either the gameplay or the graphics would suffer.

Finally someone else says what I thought about it. It's Hulks Ultimate Destruction with a fresh coat of paint. Don't get me wrong that's not at all a bad thing, but I'm a bit surprised just how the same Hulk and this guy run...up buildings, air dash, critical mass, etc.

@fahadqureshi: YES! Very possible. Things can get overwhelming and at times, you find yourself even retreating and grabbing random civilians for health. Probably not on the easy difficulty, but yeah, I've came close to dying a few times on normal.

@gamer3386 that is not an anti-hero, Dante from Devil May Cry who are not specifically heroic but still follow some type of path to make them the good guy, is an anti-hero, Anti heroes do not show heroic attributes. suddenly adding the word anti does not mean villain, and the people who controlled him are the villains

@Poonard This was made by Radical Entertainment, the same company who made Ultimate Destruction and publicly said that this was based off of UD with the idea that the main character should weaponize himself. Now in the sequel, you can weaponize vehicle weapons again! :D Radical is also known for Simpsons Hit & Run and developing the final Crash Bandicoot games: Crash Tag Team Racing, Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant. I'm personally a huge fan of Radical.

I'd like to see these improvements. 1. BETTER CONTROL SYSTEMS Trying to destroy spesific enemies with weapons was a real pain in the ass. The targeting system was really impractical. 2. MORE USEFUL UPGRADES It was fun gathering points for the upgrades, but most of them were pretty useless. More thought into their practical use. 3. WAY BIGGER MAP It was large, but considering the massive maps we've seen in other games, this was tiny. And of course, bigger map should mean more content as well.

Dude, Prototype, by a LARGE margin. GTA's violent, but it doesn't scratch the surface on the amount of the gore you see in Prototype.

I haven't played it (and can't, sadly. Got no console to work it. And my Pc's processor ain't powerful enough), but I've plowed through hundreds of gameplay videos to know it better. My god, it looks so much fun. It makes you feel like a superpowered badass who isn't afraid to abuse of his abilities, in a free-roaming city. It's LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE! Of course, it could use some improvement in the AI department. But aside from that, it looks REALLY fun.
