Loket mot I'm sure they did. This game was supposed to be a big push for Nvidia Physx. And GRIN was a competent developer. In the end I'm sure budget and deadlines are what did it in.

@XadowMonzter Of sure. I recommend playing Stand Alone Complex for the ps2 and the original GITS in the ps1. In SAC you play as Kusanagi and Batou, in a third person shooter. The other one for ps1 you play with a Tachikoma.

Yeah I mean the Source engine. It's not necessarily for only FPS games. A graphic engine can be used for all kind of games. The graphic just reminds me so much of HL2

I actually own Terminator Salvation on Xbox 360, I bought it from Gamestop when they did the Buy2Get1Free deal, and Terminator Salvation was the game I got for free. It's very similar to "The Last of Us" and both "Mercenaries" games. It would've looked and played better if it was made with Unreal Engine 3 (which was available in 2009). The only 2 actors to reprise their roles from the movie are Moon Bloodgood and Common. The 3rd Person gameplay is very much like Gears of War, and the cover system is exactly like in Splinter Cell Conviction, but it's an easy 1000G Gamerscore

I've played so many Terminator games over the years this kind of immersive gaming experience is just the kind of Terminator game I would have wanted to play! I would have probably prefered one set in 2029 with the energy weapons and T800's but this looks epic! got to get it sometime! it must be fairly cheap now

One thing i don't understand is that Kyle Reese said that the soldiers stay down by day and fight by night. In "Terminator Salvation" it's reversed.

FarSight Studios has the Terminator table on Xbox 360 (The Pinball Arcade) I think. I liked both Terminator Salvation and Genesis.

I loved it at the time but I'd never have the patience to return to the brutal hard core style of old skool games where you could reach the last level only to die and have to start all over again! I still have an extensive to do list of games from that era

those are some horrible Z-buffering issues with the floor textures at 2:40... the game does look like it was rushed out early. Shame they didn't have more time to work on it though, it looks like it could've been decent.

the difference between "Fuchikomas" and "Tachikomas" isn't translation ... it's two different models :D Tachikomas is the light blue ones(appears in the animes mostly). while Fuchikomas is the bigger bulkier ones (mostly in the mangas and first PSX game)

I like how keeping your head down by a car has your head easily picked out. A Terminator vs Humans mode would have been nice... but I guess who has time for multiplayer. If they wanted to make the game easier to start with have scouts in the beginning, with a single 'terminator' stalking you that appears every so often until a boss fight with it. Then you can throw several 'terminators' at once. Come to think of it, maybe machine scouts would be tiny insects designed for scouting.

I got my ps3 four days ago, and i'm thinking of getting "Terminator Salvation". The shooting scenes reminds me of "Uncharted: Drakes Fortune". That game came with my ps3, and it's not bad, but it's really hard with the shooting scenes.

its pretty good realy and i like that you can play co-op because if you finish the game you can play co-op gameplay and there are patches for the game for bonus lvl like save sarah connor then your a teenager jon conner

Easily the most consistently good thing about Salvation is the music, but even that's looped endlessly and just taken from the film, so it can hardly be credited to the actual game.

Which is better, the game or the movie is based upon. T4 was slightly better than the last film, but it still falls short of comparing with the first and second Terminator films. Some masterful special effects, creative action sequences, but the story lags. Also, Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) upstages John Connor (Bale)!
