Sick guide ! I did everything like you said except simone who isn't as easy as you say with pre raid gear. Tree trick still works just finished doing it. The trick to him not running away is you have to keep shooting him consistently and I found I had to move around a bit on the tree to keep him from getting to me.

Whelp, your guide was better than most at helping me find Artorius. But I still had to look at your minimap, and find the same spot to find him. The link you gave for his route was BS. It did show the upper circle, which is his actual route, but I have no idea what that long southern leg is. Maybe the kiting route? Anyway here is the info I gleaned so far from scouting the area for a couple of hours. Where to find Artorius. Coord 58.4 X 20.6 Y is his southern most point before he turns back north. There’s a large flat rock a few yards south of this, that if you sit on it and look north, you’ll see him coming south to that point. The flat rock is a fairly safe spot, where nearby mobs won’t agro on you except one bear I had to deal with from time to time. Artorius route goes in a circle. The northern most point is near two Horde PVP NPC’s. He takes eight minutes to do the circle. Killing nearby mobs to clear a kiting route, it takes the mobs at least 15 min to respawn. If Artorius takes longer, it’s likely because another Hunter has accosted him elsewhere along his route. The place on the road I found to go off the trail to head to the spot has two rock pillars and is at coord 53.7 X 25.2 Y. Edit: 6/24/2020. I'm still no closer to getting these epic weapons. IMO, only the very best hunters will ever be able to do this questline on their own. Are all the other classes epic questlines as difficult? Unless you are highly skilled and have a TON of patience, you'll be better off paying a skilled hunter to kill the demons for you.

Idk he never really threatened me while kiting him, he'll get a few bites but if you wing clip him and kite it should be just fine! Having fresh leveling gear if you just hit 60 is going to make everything harder, I'd assume most people who got a leaf would have at least a few pre-bis pieces by then. If not, get slightly better gear I guess. I wasn't even very geared when I did it, some pre-bis and like 3-4 giantstalker and yeah if you straight up tank the felhunter he hurts but if you wing clip him and kite he'll barely do anything.

I did it in mostly greens and AV gear, my melee weapon was some level 40's green, I killed the pet because I couldn't do enough damage to kill her before I'm dead, once the pet is dead you can take as long as you want as she does very little damage.

I'm a tauren and when i tried the tree strat, he could still hit me on the tree, i had to go basically to the top of the tree before he pathed around, but then it was hard to attack him and keep the cycle going, cuz i was busy running back down the tree. Duno if it's been hotfixed or if it's just that good old tauren hit box but ye.

In the end I used the tree strat successfully, there is a tiny portion of the lower branch that will force him to path (left side towards the hill, just before it starts getting steeper), once he has pathed u just have to be conservative... keep him on that tree, dont get damage hungry and be safe. If he is getting off then immediately use scorpid to knock off his enrage and run up the tree to reset him and get him pathing up the tree again. There definitely was some weird hitbox stuff going on, was with a troll who did it first then watched me and confirmed, it all looked wrong, was being hit in places where he was safe, had to stand further away from the tree when off it, which meant i had to jump off earlier when on it, and even when on the very top of the tree with the mob pathing under, he could hit me through the tree (was weird cuz he kept pathing, just hit me on the way) but when i was ultra safe it was very easy in the end. TBH what i found is this strat is exactly the same for Tauren as any other race just ur margins are much smaller. At first I thought it might be impossible as a Tauren but as i said, after some trouble shooting and watching somebody else do it, it's not much harder, u just basically have to be perfect (which might sound intimidating but honestly what ur doing isnt that hard to be perfect at).

Tree strat still works, don't let the boss come to close to you so jump on and off more often, i believe taurens have bigger hit boxe due to its size same as gnomes with smaller hit box due to size,

1. Easiest way is to get a hunter who already did it to kill it for you. You just have to start it for him. (FFA LOOT/GROUP) 2. Silithus demon. Use a shadow pot to absorb his damage and just do the wingclip/shoot to death. Yes he'll do a small fear, but you recover quickly and just continue. 3 wingclip/shooting kills him. winterspring - kite him to road and head to town path. Max Serpent sting and arcane shot 1. Concussive when he gets close or scatter in emergecy. Once he gets low he slows down so it's easier to autoshoot him down. Ungoro - The pet no longer despawn after you kill him. You can kite both of them and LOS her lightning. I just killed the pet first (trap her) then when the pet died. i then kite her around...VERY EASY KITE... just get out of range or LOS. I used a big tree and just ran in circles. Burning Steps - Tauren is too big, but any other class can use the fallen tree and just kite him via pathing. Jump on tree/jump off and just dps him down... VERY EASY. let me know if you have any trouble and I can walk you more through it. Demon slaying enchant, demon elixir, greater mana pots, mongoose, agility elixir will help with faster kills. (Demon Slayer Oneginchat on Rattlegore) 1 shot service or your money back! :D

Definitely buy leaf. Onyxia is easier to successfully pug and it's a 5 day reset (MC is 7 day reset). Also often times if you have leaf and Sinew drops and another hunter doesn't have leaf, you'd get priority from most groups. Very high drop rate and easy to do Ony every 5 days!

Too many holes in the solenor strat. You cannot hold curses after a warlock duels you. Once the duel ends, the curses drop in the current version of the game. PPl also talk about multi and explosive for the scarabs because while they move slowly, they hit like a truck. And if you're being feared into them, even with the clip, you will die.

"Holes" in the strat? I did it easily with this strat, and so have many others. You don't end the duel, the duel keeps going while you fight the demon, as clearly shown in the video lmao. As you can plainly see in the video, the bugs never touched me and it was super easy. Why would you intentionally end the duel to drop your debuff? The only holes are in your logic :)

You're standing too far down the tree. It definitely works as you can plainly see in the video, it's not an editing trick lol. If you stand at the very tip of the tree you're basically touching the ground, move 1 yard further up the tree.

Worked for me yesterday.. and a guild mate this morning so its still working. There are 2 trees, one on the back side of the hill and one near road where he does it, by the crater. I tried it on the back tree and it did not work at all. I practiced jumping on the tree a few times and it was super easy.. didnt even use the sting. I have all done but WinterSpring and it sucks on my server with WPVP and all the adds keep re spawning

It might be the exact spot you're walking on the tree tip, if you're too low to the ground he'll swing at you. I've had people report the trick working just this week so it definitely still works. I didn't have any issue with it but it seems there are parts of the tree tip that might make it not work right. Try going higher up on the tree I think.

I'd say zin'rohk is probably better for pvp due to really yuge raptor strikes, it's a budget ashkandi as far as stats go but it's close enough in stats, and the 3.8 speed makes it hit about as hard.

You're probably standing slightly too far down the tip of the tree. Also had someone whisper me last night "thanks! The tree cheese worked perfectly"

I just had success this morning though it took a while. Need to jump onto to the specific spot of the tree for it to work and just strafe-jump the fight. Be it know his pathing gets screwed up some times so you'll have to run up the tree to bring him back around

Don't let this guide fool you.. he makes it look easy, this shit is NOT easy. Simone, the "Easiest" is actually difficult. Shes a long fight and you get whittled down slowly either going oom or just having your health chipped away. Or because it's so long, someone comes a long and screws it up. Artorius, the Winterspring one, he said "easy" while fighting it.. he is by far the HARDEST of them all. If I am not at max range at all times I get debuffed into the demon and die.

Some people are reporting issues with it, but also people are saying it works fine very recently. Taurens have an especially hard time since their large hitbox reaches the ground. Franklin can hit you if you're too low on the edge of the branch closer to the ground. He can even hit you if you're not technically touching the ground. There's no way he can hit you down there if you go further up on the tree though. Don't hop on the branch and just trust it works, if you see him coming to whack you from the ground, move higher up the tree. He cannot walk up the small branch of the tree, therefore his A.I. programming will force him to path all the way around. NPC's can't recode themselves! :P

that BS tree tactic! Need to try that.. I kited him to redridge in the early morning but was unable to loot him after. Pissed me so much I let this one for later. thx your tip. other tips: As for the ungoro dog I used magic dust from westfall elementals which gives you enough time to kill the bitch. For silithus one you either have a lock or great shadow resist potion. Though if you dont have a lock you may get feared to bugs which basicly kills you. Get a lock!

Other hunters can kill it for you, but only 1 person can loot it at a time. There's only 1 demon head per demon kill.

Awww really? Too big? Try going further up the tree, although your hit box is bigger if you go far enough up the tree you should still force his pathing. I can imagine the lower ledge of it won't work with a big hitbox, give it a try higher up!

It's not a pathing bug, it's how blizzard AI pathing is programmed - that's how WoW AI has always worked. You're not going high enough up the tree and are probably playing a tauren with a larger hit box. If you stand at the base of the tip touching the ground, the mob can hit you - if you go up higher where it can't hit from the ground it HAS to path, blizzard AI is programmed that way. Not a bug.

No way they can really fix it with the way WoW A.I./pathing has always worked. Were you too far on the tip of the tree maybe? I know someone said they can get hit by him if they're too far on the tip of the tree (too close to the ground). Maybe go up the tree branch a little further?
