CLASSIC LNER First Class Peterborough to Edinburgh(BETTER than the new Azuma)

Do you prefer to travel by plane or by train?
On a recent trip to speak at a conference in Peterborough, I travelled on LNER in First Class and it's such a stress-free way to travel.
In this episode of RogVLOG let's jump on board the Class 225 train at Peterborough and head north through York, Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed.
Have a look at the LNER First Class carriages and the fabulous breakfasts they service.
Check out the scenery as we zoom up the East Coast Mainline.
These old Class 225 are being slowly replaced by the new Azuma trains. Whilst I didn't get to travel on one today, I did get a sneaky peek at one once we got back to Edinburgh.

I love english breakfast, sadly I don't get it here in Germany, except the luxury hotels of course. Btw, you speak a very plain english, I understood every word👍.That's not always the case when I watch english videos.

The closest I got to a Full English on the Virgin West Coast Line (First Class) was a bacon roll! Very impressive.

I can’t remember traveling on VWCL at breakfast time so don’t know what the options were. On LNER the bacon roll is offered as a lighter option to the full English.

I think plane is more fun but train is easier and more relaxing cause you don't have to get there hours before and don't have to wait in cues at security and it's probably just as quick as train, it's slower for me cause where my auntie lives, it doesn't have an airport so I go to Peterborough and then she drives us to her house.

Absolutely love it this train is best of that favouriteable. I don't like New Azuma LNER. Because is Azuma LNER train is no flyer train Turbostar, hm!! Very biggest disappointed. Sadly, I have no longer my favourite this LNER anymore. Due to serving new Azuma LNER train made in JAPAN! I don't know why they waste of money to spend borough new trains on this year 2021! Just 'British Rai', NOT the country buying it. Because there is load of things the way too much too expensive ticket create paid financial to them new trains! Damnit lost it! 😳😕💔 Just very ridiculously it is! 😠💥😳😣

@@RogEdwardsTV Ok, this one is best relationship with LNER train intercity with Electric-link since many years ago. Unfortunately, is Azuma LNER trains is bad design comforted... Because we're trying to get on new Azuma LNER train to seat felt very uncomfortable. No resting bedback, is straight up the seat. B****y these seats so hard of it! Old LNER is best is being a load of deep seats very comfortable better way rest of long journey flyer train to Scotland in my dreams. Of course is best of Old flyer Intercity (Electric-link) train love the worlds. How shame this trains will be gone now! People who hate of new Azuma LNER Trains is. Now did you see that new Azuma LNER Train is no flyer train... It's not worth is good suitable at all. 😕😔 I using the Virgin train (Avanti West Coast) train from Euston instead. There plenty of flyer train to Scotland to aim to this. I DON'T GO THERE AZUMA LNER TRAIN ANYMORE! Because too tired the seats are very uncomfortable. That's such a shame it is! 😩💔
