Another brilliant presentation. A superb package, incredible engineering. This will keep my Mini obsessed boys driving my Minis well into the future. I’ll be popping in soon to have a look guys👌

Looks like a ton of fun. What kinda real word range would one see in and out of town? Also is there any room in the car to extend the range within another battery?

Something like this, rather than the citreon Ami, would be nice

There was one in the UK got pulled for extra holes drilled for the wiring and the authorities pulled the V5 registration certificate and said it needed an IVA test to register it for the road

All you need now is a plastic body to stop the dreaded rust

Good marketing ... but very disapointing for someone like myself who is doing an EV conversion to realize that Felten provide so little technical information about their conversions. With the Mini conversion, we see headline figures such as 72kW of power, (presumably peak power), but nothing about the torque characteristics of the motor (either peak or continuous), or the battery chemistry. Why the secrecy? Sure the videos show it going up a hill with a single person in the car. What about more testing conditions with more load and longer hills in warm weather when the motor drops power output to continuous power? It is the same problem with their Range Rover and Land Rover conversions ... no real testing to show what people might expect from a 4X4 under real-life conditions. I appeal to Felten to become more open in providing real technical information and showing potential customers what they can expect in real-life conditions where the motor is operating in difficult conditions and not in its peak power mode.

Just how long do you think the video would need to be!!? Just go and ask them rather than being that person.

We’re more than happy to share this info, it’s just a struggle to find the time to write/video it for social media. All the technical content, website and videos are written by Chris or Dave in the time between running our respective small businesses. Not an excuse, just trying to make the best content in the time we have. Most engineering and testing done by our team who aren’t filming themselves. Send an email with any questions. We’re wanting to do. A big video FAQ section on the site
