Will be interesting to see what you do with this Dave. I drove a 2019 Camry Hybrid the other day. This was the most modern car that I've driven. I currently drive a 2008 VW Caddy. While the car was quite comfortable and everything worked well, the brakes were just way too touchy for me; to the point where I wouldn't buy that car just for that reason. I'm not sure if that had to do with regen but it felt really uncomfortable so it was interesting what you mentioned about the brakes for this car. Thanks.

We find modern brakes often too twitchy as well. We spend a lot of time tuning the feel between the regen and 'real' braking. Regen is infinitely tunable so it'd be a choice make by the Toyota team

But the laughable power, woeful turning circle, freezing cold and unreliability are what I love about my 68 mini van :) goes up every year in value though.
