Great idea ... considering making a grille myself which will fit in two pieces so I don’t need to remove the entire grille if I need to get into the rad bracket for example. I saw this done on a rally Mk1 back in the day and thought it was a cool idea.

I think they put chrome buttons as a quick release feature. Some mini spots flushed might have been a nice feature ( Radford style) .Still a nice job though.
