Fuel goes bad, just like food. Running it every day will not stop the damage, either drive enough to put fresh fuel into the tank or add stabilizer to the fuel.

Think I'll switch my lead replacement to Valmaster Plus by Castrol should also stabilise the fuel, and who can ignore the marketing of 2% acceleration and economy 😂

Use whatever makes sense with your motor. As long as it keeps the ethanol from causing damage.
