Very good video. Love the changes you have made to the Mustang. The Dakota Gage packs looks fantastic. I like it when a builder brings a classic style to current or future technoligy but retain the looks of the classic. Keep up the great work and the great videos. I watch them all.

In one of your previous clips you were asking about where to put the start button. In my 93' GT I have the fuel map selector switch in the armrest. I am thinking of moving the start button there as well. Makes a car thief scratch their head a little when they can't find the ignition. Same with my friends. LOL

Excellent Jason. Looking at the HDX and Holley Terminator EFI for mine next year. Keep up the great work, very inspirational and gets me excited looking at all the upgrades you are doing. Lots of cool choices. The performance increases and better drivability using modern tech is just awesome. Loving it!

@@AutoEdits I love them as well. I have the PAC2800 fan controller as well. The GEN V computer only has a PWM output for fan. So the Dakota Digital controller monitors engine temp and turns the fans on and off at your preset temperatures and will shut them off based on vehicle speed

You could also build your own with a raspberry pi. Pick up a pi and a 7 inch touch screen. Reads the data through obd2 port. I was going to do the dakota digital, but I don't have dakota digital money.
@CharlesFlahertyB5 жыл бұрын
The tach should always be on the right or center. I don't understand why so many cars have the tach on the left. Speaking of which, does the tack have red line?

Its a lot like the RacePak IQ3 system I used in my Jeep, All I had to do was make an aluminum dash plate and mount the Racepak and ran the data logger. it was the easiest way I could think of putting an LS in my jeep, But I like this stuff better

Did you have to run a ground wire for the fuel sending unit from the brain? I am installing the VHX in a 65 mustang and haven’t found anything on the Fuel - since the stock sender only has the one wire and no mounting screws. Thanks
@AutoEdits4 жыл бұрын
The stock sender on this vehicle has 2 wires but from what I'm reading in the instructions... your should be able to run a chassis ground to the brain. Worst case is you do a manual calibration on the sender.

I have them on this my 71. The problem is any glare and you can’t read the damn thing since their LEDs that’s why no factory LED lights on the sun window in the afternoon I couldn’t even see the gauges. I wish they were luminescent LEDs not too good in any sort of sunlight you only have to put, anti-reflective coding on the lens

What are the plans for the 'Vette?

Looks good but instead of keeping the stock housing white, I would paint it a matte or flat black so as to not have so much glare at night especially if you keep the brightness turned all the way up.
