I hate this channel because I watch one video, click on another and another and then I look at the clock and 9 hours have passed. For seriously though I am waiting impatiently on mustang videos, I am currently restomodding a 73 mach 1 and stealing a lot of these ideas. I really enjoy the jeep and truck videos too. Nothing but thumbs up from this guy

Sorry to hear about the haters. I love the "Large Marge-Project". Came here from one of the Ford Magazines. Been following it for a looong time :) But like You said, even though off-road stuff is not my thing, I have found a lot of interesting thing there too. The ones I don't like/that don't interests me, I just don't look at. Simple as that. I am a typical 1965-70 Mustang lover. Never really liked the +1971 models. Your Large Marge has starting to make me think again. Your thoughts and designs looks good and work very good for me too. For example, those rims/tires on that model is killer. Best of luck on the last leg now and Happy Holidays :)

Kudos on the build. I'm in the middle of frame-up build myself (Jeep TJ). I know how long it takes. I don't even like Ford, but I think you're doing a great job on yours. And, what you're doing to this car can also help someone who might be building another make/model car. Seriously, the Mustang guys are disliking your Jeep/Dodge videos?? That's messed up man! I don't even understand why people dislike any of the videos that they set out to watch. Too many negative people. I'm sure they're not out busting their back-side building a car and videoing every step in the process. Keep up the good work. You're doing great!!

Something to keep in mind on the EFI wiring side. Holley likes to use ground switching for accessories like radiator fans and the AC compressor. There's less of a load on the switch contacts doing it that way, but you have to be careful with the wiring. Putting a power wire to a switched ground can lead to an excessive amount of magic smoke getting released.
@AutoEdits
@AutoEdits 5 жыл бұрын
Great observation and YES... I'm fully aware of that and am using the switch side of the Painless Track Rocker harness that IS ground trigger! Thanks for the "heads-up"

I'm making good progress on this car! The rear axle housing is stock width and I just ordered a good backspacing on the wheels... can't remember off hand but if you look back in the playlist on this project here on the youtube channel... that video is there showing the measurement and install. There's a ton of room under the rear wheel well of these things.

These cars have always been over looked. I have 3 of them. You've done a nice job on yours. But these cars in stock condition ,without all the hi-tech. Stuff perform exceptional well. Great build,but jeep turn signal sockets?????????? Oh well to each his own.

I hope you do something different with the labeling on those rocker switches, maybe some white lettered decals or something cool on there

Do the new turn signal lights work off a standard flasher or do you need a 3 pin LED flasher relay?
@AutoEdits
@AutoEdits 5 жыл бұрын
They did work fine with the standard flasher but I swapped in an LED flasher in the stock spot.

It's silly, but part of the reason I'd want to build an older vehicle is just because round headlight that would fit JW Speakers in them.

@AutoEdits does the EFI elimiate the gas smell you get from running a carb? My 67 mustang is stinking up my garage so wondering if that would help (and yes, I checked the whole gas line and replaced the cap). Enjoying watching your videos and keep the great content coming!

What transmission do you have? Car is coming out nicely. I have a 72 fastback 3 speed. But looking for a better transmission.

I am using the Borg Warner T5 that came out of the 95 Mustang the engine came from and so far it's doing great.
