Cool as hell video! The animated segments and history of the show’s production was really cool to hear about! I recall they did a segment in a few episodes where they digitally replicated the cel look, but even then they had restraint on inbetweens

great video! personally I think the framing has gotten so much better in the last couple seasons, and they aren't afraid to do more expressive faces. I really think the animation was at its worst in its teen seasons because the posing and framing wasn't very dynamic and the digital style lost its charm pretty quick. I think that's why the Simpsons movie is so great aesthetically, its the best of both worlds

You're right, a lot of the cartoons that went through a 'cel' era usually had a more flavourful art style, but modern Family Guy definitely went through a worse transition than the Simpsons
