I like when DC3 touched the whell on ground while the tail wheel stil in the air,..that was so amazing

That’s required on a DC3 you need to keep the tail flying as long as possible or you will lose rudder and pitch and lose directional control - it’s always beautiful to watch when executed properly. Some recent DC3 accidents can be attributed directly to loss of tailplane authority

@@flymachine thanks for detail information regarding the requrement of DC3 ( tail dragger character ) and i can imagine how bussy the PIC with the pedals to keeping aligned ( by seen rudder movement before take off )

Ive been lucky enough to have some hands and feet on time in an Auster - that was circa 1982🤔😳😳💜💜 I was also luck enough to have a ride in an ex 666 sqd Scout too.
