Great video. Is it better to clip your dots or not? Do you re-cast corruption/immolate/CoA right after they expire or before they end?

Let them expire, they get a final tick of dmg.

Better opener is to prepot/LT, pre-cast SB, corruption while running into melee range, then meta into immolate, CoD, Immo aura. In this video you immolate pre-meta which doesnt take advantage of the 20% meta buff. Immolate is demo locks second highest damage per cast time spell after CoD so its important to get it ripping with the meta juice.

In a perfect world yes, this rotation is very hard to do in real fights especially in ToGC, nearly none of them you can pre cast due to positioning/requirements/casting meta. And on the 20% meta damage is correct on the immolate, my bad if I did it pre meta, it’s a little hard to explain it all and do it at the same time :)

@@Kaghoegaming 100%, the roleplay/activation in TOGC makes precasting and prepotting a pain. Like your vids btw, and your gear is looking absolutely fresh--248 ilvl is no joke this early in the phase.

Do you cast curse of elements on the target or do you go for another damage debuff ?

Almost never, pretty much doom, right the other use I have is casting it on the other worm in togc to allow the aff locks pump, the CoE debuff is put up by others.

Assuming you're not in a guild that has the best kill timers, would you consider going with glyph of meta if it allows you to get a 3rd meta in a fight or would you still go with felguard?

Maybe in icc where fights are much longer, but not in togc, it requires really long fights to make it worth.

Soulfire, it consumes the procs as well, it’s also why you maintain dots in the 35% phase, I’d get a kill timer wa and if it’s below dot times just cast Soulfire

and .... when i play against two opponents like the twins valkyr. Should I always have corruption and fire blight on both of them or just one and pump ?

Dots should always be used if you will get the full duration of the dot, a kill timer addon or weak aura can help you a lot if you’re trying to min max to this level.

I personally just pump the one, I have seen locks start the opposite, and dot the off focus one running in, then switch to the main one, but that’s maiming an aff lock thing.

I'd say Hit first (till Hit cap), then Spell damage, then Haste, then Crit or Spirit.
