Don't waste your time getting the whirlwind axe on your first character, just get the scarlett monastery quest reward axe.

Top tip: find yourself a holy paladin to grind with you. You are both slow alone but an unstopable force together

@ true, but I think the other healing classes level fast enough without the warrior so they have less incentives to actually duo level. The paladin is slow as hell so he will take any opportunity to have someone hit stuff for him

For horde do the mushroom spore chain at crossroads at 10, gives a green staff thats 15 ilvl

Don’t get the westfall staff as alliance u can get Mr Smite mighty hammer from deadmines. It has 0.6 dps less but way better stats and slower.

And it's a hammer, which makes it way better for humans as they get have innate +5 hammer skill

@@theral056 That's if you're consistently hitting mobs 2-3 levels higher than you which you are not while levelling (it's about a 5% chance) where as mobs your level it's only generally a 0.3% difference. It is absolutely irrelevant for levelling.

I've heard just going with Arms is also a solid option. I've honestly been wanting to level a warrior for a while and I haven't really been playing much vanilla warrior since HC launched.

I started leveling a warrior on era just before they announced fresh, using spirit gear mixing with agi/str and some stamina and I can confirm leveling a warrior is not a pleasant experience. The lack of good spender untill 36 makes it very bland and whirlwind is only a slight improvement. Also spirit gear is great you regen your hp during the time from mob to mob and you never need to eat your hp is full just by waiting 5 seconds, you don't lose dps compared with of the bear gear since you are mostly cutting on stamina gear (more risky on pvp serv).

Honestly, leveling warrior fresh without any funneling is a nightmare. But if you can funnel stuff to your warrior, wowee is the experience amazing.

Just farm some gold sometimes on enemies that drop a decent amount of grey items and funnel yourself ;)

Prot warr on Wotlk forward is fun as fucc, in classic it is a little hard

You can tank anything as a warrior in any spec. At max level you'll be tanking in a DPS spec for max threat anyway.

Yes but for whatever reason it only duplicates one of the strikes, if it did all 4 it would be broken beyond belief lmao

Heroic strike queing with a furry build has faster kill times than arms and less down time. Taking the WW axe and missing on a 3.8 ish swing slows your kills down soo much. Yes you get Sweeping strikes but you have to sit and eat after each time you use it. On a fresh run where you will not be getting WW axe/sword or other blues fury is much more viable (if you are HS queing, if you don't know how to do this than fury is not good for leveling.)

Well it’s much easier to go arms at lvl 30, there are a lot of good 2handers at that lvl range and fury got 0 cleave dmg, plus no hamstring kiting. Also gearing is a lot easier having only focus on getting 1 weapon instead of 2.

@@ronnyrs3599 There are a metric shit ton of one handers, use 60 upgrades if you don't know where to find them. 90% of the time you are killing mobs 1 at a time. when sweeping strikes is up you will pull 2 then spend the time you saved killing that mob drinking due to the extra damage you take. from the moment people figured out HS queuing fury became faster but content creators look up old videos and rehash the same shit over and over.

I would skip out on improved charge and 1 point in impale to get anger management, impale only effect yellow attack crits, and anger management is best rage generating talent in arms
