If you have a friend invite one of you're alts to the party, the friend can make the alt leader then leaves party. You log back into your main, do your run, then /camp. Wait two minutes before logging into your alt and when you do it becomes party leader, you can then reset dungeons. Log back into main and they will be logged in right outside the instance. That's how you prevent lock out

Solid guide, Frost! (As always.) SM was my go-to spot for gold farming back in vanilla; I'd run all 4 wings on my rogue alt. She had Enchanting (Armory and Cathedral drops disenchanted into Small Radiant Shards) and Herbalism. I racked up a good bit from both drops and chests; BoE blues, the pattern for Mithril Spurs, and other nice sellers. Also, the instance lockout? I'm not sure that's a bug. I remember not being able to zone into instances on my priest after my rogue had hit the 5-per-hour limit.

There is videos of the corrupted ashbringer worn in SM and having the event trigger and the mobs are friendly- no secret vendors but they are still friendly.... also the argent dawn becomes hostile towards you when wielding it, source: played since beta vanilla and a friend had the sword as well as might of menathil. There is plenty of vids portraying these interactions though. I have no reason to lie about this to anyone- no gain for me either way 🤔

Well skinning is one thing I'm going for, I'm unsure what I'll do for the other, enchanting seems like it'd save a lot of space and give me tons of mats to level it and make business with that, I also plan on running as alliance so I can't exactly make a quick hearth and get back in no time after vendoring, it'd just take forever and drop the gold per hour, but this gives me lots to think about, thanks for the guide.

been doing sm grave for couple weeks with prot pala boosting for 2g/run per player with group loot but i keep all greens and blues that arent upgrades and cloth i make steady 40-60gold per hour. could make more if i took all loot but not that greedy

One other vid suggestion: I'd love some suggestions of places to grind in hopes of specific rare drops, and might have the side benefits of many grey vendor drops, high exp, good pickpocketing, etc. For example, the grind for Crusader recipe, or maybe the rare dragon whelpling pets in various places. It'd be fun to know about more grinds that have the chance at a jackpot super-rare drop.

Enchanting is good on a rogue in classic, one of the trainers is in an instance and you can get to them easily with stealth

i believe there was a lockout but I think it was only 5 instances in 1 hour or something SM was one of the few dungeons you ever had the issue come up as you hunt the rare spawns

you can bring you mage here at 40. With ice barrier you can kill all the mobs in the actual graveyard. SOmetimes you can open the chests as they are not locked.

In hardcore its even more viable as a rogue since you cant really do brd Its around 20-30g per hour depending on your luck you do graveyard and armory pickpocketing the mobs on your way looting chests and killing bosses and its exactly 12 minutes per run You should still watch out for Herod since he can crit 2 times in a row which is around 1500 of damage so dont go less than 50% hp and bandage between his spining ability. Mageweave bandages is enough you can loot it from mobs so no need to spend runecloth So ye its a chill second monitor grind without any risks just lock in once in 10 minutes to kill the herod and chill again

Thanks for the video! I plan to play a rogue too but on alliance side. I dont know if this works well for alliance too, since you have to travel a lot to unload your stuff and the gold/h will drop significantly. I would love to hear any other ways I can use stealth with my rogue to make gold. For example I thought to get mining and mine in caves, since I will not have to fight all mobs up until the mine I will be faster and have less competition. I remember some long caves in Un Goro and Silithus.. Also thought to spec for pick pocket and run BRD or Tyrs Hand.
