I think the majority of the comments below critiquing this video is missing the point. My takeaway of this video isn't that it is the most optimal precise only way to do Dm runs but just a basic guide to help new hunters get a hang of it I thought the video would be extremely helpful for anybody looking to try it for the first time.

Hey bro awesome guide, helped me allot. One important thing ivv found! If you pull them with ure pet DO NOT let ure pet actually hit either of them.. pull and instantly return ure pet to stay position, this will prevent them sharing an agro table... this works for me in 6/8 t2 every time.

This is how I do it. Slip Knot bones jump to ledge though. Saw you try it and miss and did PLAN B which is to scatter 1st orgre and concussive the other to the bottom of bridge. FD/stealth to top (invis pot 18sec is nice, but the 15 lesser works just fine just gotta be on time with your re-appearnce :D). Last guard pull - i just send him towards the pack of 3 as the captain will aggro the pet when he passes anyways then bring him back. The 3 dog that pats, I would frost trap that top edge where they have to go up to the platform instead of where you placed it. Reason is they will trip the frost trap and you can use it then and when they get close you can jump down and now they have to run over it again to get to you. (I have entrapment - which is sooo damn good for this). Good job on the run :) Same path I use when I did m naked run for fun. :D

The riskiest thing you did IMO was rush past the second boss and aggro the eye. That wall is very safe just FD and hug the wall walking apposite the boss then you can safely take out the eye and way for the best opportunity to move on from there. Good video though!
@SaltyZera4 жыл бұрын
it's true, I never do my runs this way any longer, I literally just hug the wall and relax there. way until Slip goes past me and then I stand up, rez my pet if needed, otherwise recall him, wait for Slip to come back, pet aggroes him and the two ogres, send my pet into a corner with FH and then I run past them to the bottom of the stairs, takes a bit longer to do, but still works wonders.

You do not need a wolf. You can send him to attack one of the mobs, and simply run past them. Do NOT cast anything (aspect of the cheetah, etc) as this will cause proximity aggro. I've done hundreds of runs with a cat without issue. With all that said, a wolf helps a bit with the mobs guarding the locked door. Also, you can safely use serpent sting on boss, and if your HP is at a good spot you can shoot king as he approaches/charges you to help with clear speed. His charge doesn't do that much damage, his autoattack is the big one.
@SaltyZera4 жыл бұрын
aye, I still haven't found a safe spot on my hotkeys for Serpent or Viper Sting, but it would definitely save a minute off of my kill time for sure. I've never been able to get passed them with a Cat, but I've always found a Wolf useful for sure.
@GoodkatNW4 жыл бұрын
@@SaltyZera Stand still, send pet in (cat, whatever), as soon as pet hits the mobs and they start moving, just run past them. Have AOTC on before you send pet in. They'll chase pet and ignore you. Try this macro for Cho (helps to not have to manually target him). #showtooltip Viper Sting /targetexact Cho'Rush The Observer /cast Viper Sting(Rank 3) /targetlasttarget Since viper sting doesn't cause aggro, just cast it during your usual rotation, and then manually auto or arcane him to get threat and pull away from your wolf. It greatly helps with clear speed to get him OOM asap

Hey Zera, what are the different strats for the first pull you do with no pet with the different variations of casters? I typically do a really clunky pet pull and send him off to another group. He dies 100% of the time. How do you handle that pull with 2 melee one caster?
@SaltyZera4 жыл бұрын
TJ Trumble honestly. These days I’m using Iron Grenades. I knock them both out here. Regardless of the setup.
@sandsharkvolleyball4 жыл бұрын
@@SaltyZera Yeah this is the best option I've seen/practiced. You can speed through the beginning much faster if you use a grenade here. Essentially you can keep moving the moment you get into the instance and your first stop is to FD when you go to pick up the key.
@ormcgazm4 жыл бұрын
@@sandsharkvolleyball @Zera Quick start that i always use. You have to start your run as soon as you zone in for good timing with the pathing of mobs. You drop off the ledge at 0:45 at the pillar stay against the ledge and go left a little, pull out pet and put on stay run close to that middle walkway group and frost trap as close as u can. Pet pull and send it back to its stay position then run up that middle part, up the ramp to the key but stay on the left side to avoid hyenas, sometimes they aggro and a quick scatter on the closest will help but fd when safe if that happena,, keep running to the middle where the chest is and fd, often u can loot the key then keep running to the door, and use the ramp to fd/deaggro. Your pet will take a couple of hits/frost bolts but you should be able to get a reliable zone oit of ur pet to call out when you get to the first door.

I'm not entirely sure that's true man. I've done more than 20 kills since I've started using it, and I've never had linked aggro.
@vegardertilbake14 жыл бұрын
It's not a matter of wether you body pull or not. What matters is that cho and king aggro your pet at the same tick. When you send your pet in, sometimes cho might aggro first. It happens rarely if you dash your pet inbetween them and stay it there (don't let your pet do any dmg). I've done hundreds of runs, and I can't remember the last time it happened. With this strat, the 5 set bonus becomes irrelevant and you don't wanna gimp yourself.
@SaltyZera4 жыл бұрын
@@vegardertilbake1 Amen to that! :D

It's all about aggroing them at the same time. If one aggros to the pet first you'll likely get the shared aggro. Just reset and run your pet directly between them

yea, I just hadn't tried them out at this point. I understand everybody has their own "way" of doing DM Tributes. I'm still experimenting with them every day there's a different strat I'm trying out. This is not in any way safe and you "teach" a lot of wrong things. 2/3 of the traps used are not needed and will more likely get you in trouble then help you, the only places you should use frost trap is when pulling scorpios and on the pull when you open the gate. You dont need furious howl to pull the scorpios . The hounds always go right and killing them is not only slower but can easily wipe a newcomer because if they overwhelm you and you have to feign death when they are on top of you it is very likely to be resisted. There a lot more mistakes that i dont wanna bother with. And lastly for a person who has macro on every spell you sure do click with your mouse a lot of things ... and opening the spellbook ? ! the macro petattack petpassive is plain stupid as you can see with the 2 messed pulls because of it. Please if you are someone looking to do this search for zeroji or honestly every other video on the topic but this one.
