Would “drop B” tuning create a natural Bb key? BFBDGD, iirc? Standard tuning is EADGBE, and drop D is low E tuned down, drop B is everything two full steps lower. My guitar knowledge is a little rusty, but I believe Slipknot plays a lot of Drop C and Drop B, and I think playing those tuning lends themselves to those keys naturally. I never had good music theory in general, so I’m relying on what little guitar knowledge I remember.
